surely thats a huge price on Independiente Santa Fe?

They went to Sporting Cristal Lima and got a result so why not Estudiantes.

Well Estudiantes is another level to Cristal and besides this one is win or bust for them.
Burruchaga, Estudiantes` coach, said this is the fixture of the season so far for them .
They are bottom of the group with 3 pts and Santa Fe are on top with 7pts, but a home win here would put the group wide open in the last two sets of matches.

Estudiantes rested key players in last Clausura match (1-0 defeat at Banfield) and come up with a full squad.

I would have gone for home win but prices a bit lower than I rate them, around 1,67 now. Still pondering

Here comes the squads

Alineaciones probables:

Estudiantes: Martín Herrera, Marcos Angeleri, Agustín Alayes, Juan Daniel Cáceres, José Basanta o Jorge Nuñez, Juan Cominges, Juan Huerta, Horacio Cardozo, José Sosa, José Luis Calderón y Mariano Pavone. Entrenador: Jorge Burruchaga.

Santa Fe: Luis Enrique Martínez, Jairo Suárez, Francisco Nájera, John Freddy Tierradentro, Juan Carlos Ramírez, César Fawcett, Gabriel Gómez, David Montoya, Mario Gómez, Luis Yánes y José Largacha. Entrenador: Ricardo Gareca.

Having a look at Chivas v Sao Paolo.
I have it at my local bookie @ 2,4 for a home win and will have one point stake. Elsewhere else best price 2,26.
Chivas like all mexican team play on another level of extra motivation on home turf against brasilians and argentinians just to prove they can be a match of them. Over the past few seasons Chivas got defeated some teams of these two countries in Guadalajara in front of a 62 000 partisan crowd.
If the keeper Oswaldo Sanchez has one of his days then Sao Paolo will find it very hard to score. Sao Paolowould be happy to come away with a draw and even defeat will leave them in the driving seat for qualification with 2 rounds to go.

Re: South American Football: 21st - 24th March

Here are the line-ups for Chivas v Sao Paolo

Guadalajara: Oswaldo Sánchez, Diego Martínez, Francisco Javier Rodríguez, Héctor Reynoso, Carlos Salcido, Gonzalo Pineda, Manuel Sol, Ramón Morales, Sergio Santana, Adolfo Bautista y Omar Bravo. Técnico: José Manuel de la Torre.

Sao Paulo: Rogerio Ceni, Fabao, Diego Lugano, André Dias, Souza, Mineiro, Josué, Danilo, Junior, Alex Dias y Aloisio. Técnico Ramalho Muricy.

Chivas will be determined to make up for the blunder vs Caracas, whom they have clearly underestimated, with a strong performance before their fans.

Well, thanks Komp
You know, quite few of us around in the punters world are odds against to be winners in life. Some (me included) are clear underdogs and really long shots
But I love underdogs they are more feasible to be profitable in the long run
Good to have a nice woman to take care of. Of course, success has its price too. In order to win, you`ve got to stake Good luck to you

Re: South American Football: 21st - 24th March

From bet365:

Book ClosesFixtureHomeDrawAway
Mar 22-17:30Newell's v Goias1.833.253.60
Mar 22-19:45Corinthians v Tigres1.443.756.00
Mar 22-19:45Internacional RS v UNAM1.304.338.00
Mar 23-17:00Libertad v El Nacional1.613.504.50
Mar 23-19:15Rosario Central v Palmeiras2.203.202.87
Mar 23-21:30Atletico Nacional (Col) v Cerro Porteno1.443.756.00

Cool games! Newells looks fine if can be found/matched at around 2.00. Corinthians also looks an okay combo bet around 1.45-1.5. About UNAM Pumas well I already jumped big on Pumas +1.5 AH because of the value but odds dropped since then... I may lay something back depending on the latest news. Have a feeling that it's gonna be a draw so a draw around 5.00 is okay by me. Rosario and Palmeiras feels like a nice solid draw. The rest - I don't know....

Good luck!

Re: South American Football: 21st - 24th March

Corinthians with full squad,100% motivation, home field, imperative of a win....Tigres without 10 players (6 played in first match vs Cor) very weakend....

Home win should be a banker for some doubles....

Corinthians do look good...any chance UANL Tigres can really hang with them? The return isn't that great, but it's always hard to resist a gimme.

Re: South American Football: 21st - 24th March

Newells could not make it for me but Corinthians and UNAM Pumas +1.5 did! :loon

For the last 3 games of this week: well I already took Palmeiras+0.25 AH with 10bet for 1.833. Feels like an okay bet.
The other two games gotta have the value on the +1 AH but it's hard to tell... ...at least for now... so maybe later.
