Re: Setanta Cup. March 20th-21st

Shelbourne are sick of Linfield at this stage. In two meetings since the Setanta Sports Cup began, Linfield have twice totally outplayed the Dublin club. Last Tuesday, Shels were little match for the Blues. Since then, Linfield have been crowned Irish League champions, ominously allowing them to now concentrate on the Setanta Sports Cup.

Shelbourne vs Linfield
(Tolka Park - 8:00 pm - Setanta Sports Cup - Group B - Live on Setanta Sports)
Referee : Alan Kelly

Shelbourne were less than impressive on Friday as they played out a 0-0 draw with Longford Town at Tolka Park. The last time Linfield visited the Drumcondra venue, they left with the Setanta Cup, again out-playing Shels.

Glenn Ferguson, Paul McAreavy and Patrick McShane return from bans for Linfield after they missed the win at Windsor Park last Tuesday. Tim Mouncey is suspended for the game though after picking up two yellow cards in the competition.

Shelbourne are without the injured Greg O'Halloran who will miss the best part of two months due to a metatarsal injury. Alan Moore is again struggling with injury.

Ollie Cahill and Owen Heary, Shelbourne's first choice full-backs return after missing the Longford draw through suspension. Steve Williams will continue in goal after Dean Delaney picked up a concussion against Linfield last week.

Re: Setanta Cup. March 20th-21st

Very bad feeling about shels, ànd Ive a large bet on them to win this group

It turns out they owe approx €300,000 in unpaid taxes, or something to that effect and the club is ata low. They`ve only won 1 out of 4 games, and that was against the piss poor glentoran. Linfield have 3 big players coming back and I can see them getting a resul. I`d take Linfield + 1 or DNB.

Linfield are an attractive looking 4.00 with Bet 365.

Worth a couple of points IMO

Re: Setanta Cup. March 20th-21st

0-0 @ ht with shels-linfield. Linfield down to 10.

Shels have started pressing and using the extra man well and just hit the bar.

Shles @ 8/13 in running at HT. Tempting..

Cork City v Portadown; 2/5 11/4 6/1

Dungannon Swifts v Drogheda United 3/1 9/4 4/5

Dungannon look a bit big @ 3`s. They were unlucky to lose at home to cork last week and they have their best player back for this one. Drogheda are as good as through and are missing a couple (Steven Gray and Keith Fahey ). Drogheda won the first meeting 1-0 in Drogheda. Drogheda should win but I wouldnt touch them at odds on.
