Colo Colo travels for Mexican Libertadores match
Chilean soccer team Colo Colo traveled to Mexico City on Monday ahead of a Libertadores Cup match against Mexican team America, with most of its players recovered from injury. On Sunday the team tied 0-0 in a derby with Universidad de Chile, in the domestic Opening Tournament; a game which left injured goalkeeper Sebastian Cejas, central defender Miguel Riffo and mid-fielder Giovanni Hernandez. Cejas, an Argentine, told media in Santiago airport that he was no longer in pain and felt ready to play. Hernandez, a Colombian, said he felt well, but that he would be checked again. The opening 11 called up by the team's Argentine manager, Claudio Borghi, are Cejas, Riffo, Luis Mena, Arturo Vidal, Gonzalo Fierro, Rodrigo Melendez, Arturo Sanhueza, Jose Luis Jerez, Giovanni Hernandez, Humberto Suazo and Alexis Sanchez. Depite Sunday's draw, Colo Colo remain top of the league with 36 points. http://english.people.com.cn/sports.html |

Mexico's Toluca nails transfers ahead of Libertadores match
Mexican soccer team Toluca, known as Los Diablos (The Devils), made a transfer deal for Argentine forward Ignacio Scocco and Mexico's Francisco Palencia, to toughen up the team head of the first elimination phase game in the Copa Libertadores. "For the moment those are the two transfers we are going to bring in... and we thank Pumas for allowing us to include these players," Diablos president Rafael Lebrija said. Pumas is the National Autonomous University of Mexico team. Diablos had wanted to strike a transfer agreement with Monterrey to borrow Panama's Felipe Baloy and Argentina's Leandro Gracia, but was unable to agree in time for the game. Lebrija added that if Toluca reaches the quarter-finals they will try to get the third transfer allowed under Libertadores Cup rules. He said that Monterrey had wanted to transfer two players for the competition in exchange for a single player for a year. Finally he said that current manager, Argentina's Americo Gallego, will be able to renew his contract after the Libertadores, and that two more players will stay for at least a season - Paraguay's Paulo da Silva and Uruguay's Vicente Sanchez. http://english.people.com.cn/sports.html |

Re: South America 2-4 May
I`m lazy to make previews so just couple of lines......
Caracas - Santos Probable away win but shity odds so I’m leaving this game.... America - Colo Colo America is favorite but I’m going with small bet on Colo Colo i think this game could produce surprise in today`s Libertadores games... Boca Juniors - Velez Boca is going to win ...... Defensor - Flamengo Flamengo is having much more quality and i think they could sneak 1-0 win.... Sao Paulo - Gremio Sao Paolo isn`t playing so good right now but they should be able to win in this game...... |

Re: South America 2-4 May
BOCA JUNIORS-VELEZ SARSFIELD over 2.50
Velez rested almost all important players in the league game last weekend..Iván Moreno y Fabianesi,Lucas Castroman,Damien Escudero and Zarate didn't play against Independiente..Velez only focused this year on Libertadores Cup..They playin League games only for fixture. Highflying Boca this season create very strong squad..They only sold Fernando Gago to Real Madrid..But Banega playing very well his position..Ruquelme transfer is very good for Boca..They wants to be this year Clausura Champion and Libertadores..They has very good squad,it couldn't be suprise for me..Boca offancive players really in good form..Riquelme adapted the team..Neri Cardozo shows great performance every match and forwards Palermo and Palacio scoring almost every games.. Velez playin 3-4-3 formation..Velez's aim find score at this game for advantage second leg..Velez young forward Escudero this season in very good form..Experienced forwards Zarate and Castroman always could be dangerous.. But I don't like Velez defence..I watched Clausura game between these teams..Boca won 3-1 at Velez Stadium.. Velez defence were very bad..I think tonigh Velez will play open football..They had very good self confidence..I believe both team will score.I expect high scoring game like 3-1 4-1.. http://andrea.blogabet.com |

Re: South America 2-4 May
Apparently Cabañas did play last night and scored the first goal..
As far as Bilos's concerned, he was signed in the transfer window open to the teams that went through to the 8th final specifically for the coppa.. Colo Colo sold Arturo Vidal to Leverkusen for 11 million $ effective from June so he must have been an important player.. http://www.colocolo.cl/detalle_notic...FnCodNot%3D658
