Re: German Football 14-20 March 2006

Hi and many thanks for nice words,
I was whole day away yesterday playing some tournament, and thought to write about today games earlier, but sorry was dead tired.

Bayern-Schalke

two best german teams at the present playing each other. MAny experts in Germany think that Bayern is in crises, but I doubt it. They have best management, very good coach an dexperienced players to overcome situations like this. Bad news for them are that Deisler is badly injured and probably out for 6 months. Also Luzio is not ready for this game and thats even bigger blow. Imo, he is much better than Ismael (out of form lately) and should be replaced with Demichelis. Dem. is better in midfield where he played most of the seaon, so last line with him and Ismael looks realy shaky for me. Midfield and front line with Makaay back looks ok.
Schalke is flying high and play very dengerous football, scoring very easy and what I like at Schalke, they start their games easily and than rising pressure and game, so on that way also games where they are one down, turn and win on the end. They are boosted with return of playmaker LIncoln and defender Bordon (imo two best players in team). Few weeks ago I mentioned young Larssen, ussualy on bench or in just as joker in last minutes. He develop himself, I dare to say at this moment, best stryker playing in Germany. Rafigna from opposit wing position deliver many balls and most of them are cached by LArssen.
For the game, I think that BAyern will control the game, havin more posetion, but that Schalke will be more dangerous. So my advice is Schalke x2 (around 2,00), although I went for Schalke 2 (draw no bet at 3,55),and this is not against BAyern as I am 99% confident BAyern will be master even if they lose this one (having some easy fixtures afer this one, to boost they play), then its because Schalke superb form.
Confidence 7/10

Re: German Football 14-20 March 2006

Second game
Herta-Bielefeld
Herta is back again , winning last week, after 12 or 13 games w/o win, against Werder in Bremen. Their bad serie was combination of some tough fixtures, loosing concentration and on the end bad luck having whole defence line injured. Due to this they had to make some rotations and half of team didnt play on position they are used to. Now it looks promising again. Although those problems they were facing with this win they would share Uefa spot with Stuttgart, and if they win with few goals diff, they would became 5th.
Arminia is on eof the worst away teams in Germany, playing only for draw, with few conter. Their best man Boayke is not playing, and for this kind of play this is big blow for them.
I see here Herta as clear fav. and go for them 6/10

Re: German Football 14-20 March 2006

Just noticed that odds on Schalke are rising, and I simply cant believe it.
Than after some research I see that many well known and respected punters(like Mrsa, Cruiser,...) advicing punting on Bayern.
I thought this could be interesting for some of you and that I stick with my pick.

Dont worry about what the "big boys" say Johnny, have faith in your own ability. I have never gave respect to people that "sell" their picks, no matter how good they are, somehow it shows that they arent good in betting, only in making predictions. Of course there are exceptions.

Cheers Rashin,
agree with you 100%, as selling picks is worst thing, cause as you said if you have right picks put some money on them. I think its all about sharing, and those guys after stoping with sharing their minds and thoughts are not punting as well as before.
I like it here very much, and since I am here I made nice profit (mostly since January), thanks to other great covers in ligas I am interested here, I also have much more time to watch, read, and gather all needed info for German liga.

Re: German Football 14-20 March 2006

Second league looks very difficult today.
I had a look over Saarbrucken versus Freiburg. But that isn´t a good match to win some money.Saarbrucken is the third worst team in the second league, but at home much better than Freiburg away.Freiburg relegated last season from the first league, cause they won only at home.Manager Volker Finke can´t find the mistake in the team,Freiburg is bad away as well.Only the 15th place in the away ladder. In the whole ladder they´re on the 5th place!Only two meetings won Freiburg.

mhh..I don´t know who´ll be the winner,-->nobet!

Re: German Football 14-20 March 2006

Hertha BSC Berlin - Arminia Bielefeld

Johnny post it before.Berlin is back in business. After a long negative series!

Bielefeld won at last in Berlin in 1978!The first match end 3:0 in Bielefeld but Hertha didn´t lose the last 5 home rounds versus Bielefeld (3 victories;2draw).
The whole balance 3-3-2 10:5 goals.8 meetings and only 15 goals,that´s not the most goals.Bielefeld didn´t shoot a goal in Berlin since 343 minutes.That´re 3.81 matches!

the probably line ups:

Berlin

_____________Fiedler______________
Friedrich - van Burik - Fathi - Chahed
Schröder - Boateng - Bastürk - Gilberto
_______Marcelinho - Pantelic_________

Bielefeld

______________Hain___________________
Korzynietz - Westermann - Borges - Schuler
__Kauf - Kucera - Fink - Vata - Zuma_____
______________Dalovic_________________

Arne Friedrich the captain and defense boss can play tonight, also Bastürk in the midfield.

disabled:
Berlin:Dardai,Simunic,Sverkos
Bielefeld:Boakye,Porcello,Trajanov

Both Teams can jump to the UEFA Cup area in ladder.Hertha won last round versus Bremen away 3:0,Bielefeld won versus Leverkusen at home 1:0.Both Managers said that the team is on a good run and win tonight...
So, I suppose that both teams will start very powerful. But I believe that the meeting will end with an under and a Berlin victory!

My Punt:
under 2.5
Berlin victory.

Re: German Football 14-20 March 2006

read the live ticker text of Munich - Schalke ... sounds like a hard match at the moment.Bajrahmovic get the yellow card after a foul to Lizarazu... and there were some trouble on the court.... hot meeting ...

Re: German Football 14-20 March 2006

what a second half ... Schalkes Kristajic passed the ball to keeper Rost, but Makaay is 1 meter behind him... Makaay get the ball and shoot the 3:0 ...

But Schalke wasn´t bad in this match.Lot of good chances and the fight good on both sides....

3:0 .. the result is to high but the winner is the right for this match!
