Early pick from us....

2007-04-29 Getafe - Real Sociedad by: Kuki

Having a look at the table covering the last 6 games you´ll find out that Real Madrid and Real Sociedad are on top having taken 13 points each. Getafe on the other hand have managed only 6 points in the process. Sociedad had relegation written all over a few weeks ago but their current great run gives them a realistic chance of survival. They are playing their best football right now and they have beaten Atletico Madrid convincingly last Saturday. Getafe played a poor match and Levante have to ask themselves how they failed to beat Bernd Schuster´s men. Final score Levante 1 Getafe 1. Getafe are 7 points behind the last UEFA-Cup place and in current form it looks to be impossible to get there. Sociedad have closed the gap to the safety zone to three points and if they can continue their revival they might be safe at the end of the season. To beat Getafe at home is a big ask (they have lost there only once all season) but the odds on offer with Stan James are too good to ignore. Motivation bet of course and a medium stake is my choice here.

Pick: A, Odds: 4.50, Stake: 6, Bookmaker: Stan James

Re: Spain 27/29 April

After betting 4-5 times in a row on Sociedad this time I’m going to leave this game.
Yes that price from Stan James is huge I’m temped but ...
Sociedad is going to die on the field to get something from this game but from what I’ve seen in that game against Atletico they have big problems in difence, they are playing very good attacking football but there’s too much space for the opponents and Getafe is more than capable of scoring goals, there`s difence is rock solid, best home difence in Primera and Sociedad who scored just 6 goals in 15 away games is going to struggle against them.

Re: Spain 27/29 April

Celta Vigo - Mallorca
For me this game is big no bet at least at that joke price, this is six pts game, Celta is little improved since crazy Bulgarian is in the team but miracle couldn`t be gone in just two weeks Mallorca is good form and they could make some problems in this game and i think they are going to take something from Vigo, Mallorca @4.35 Betsafe that is just a crazy price...

Atletico Madrid - Betis
Atletico should win in this game but low odds and no bet for me.....

Valencia - Huelva
If someone told me that seven rounds from the end of the season difference between this two is going to be 4 pts i would call him a mad man
Valencia is going to take three pts from this game but i prefer to go with over, Valencia is having top class forwards and Recreativo love to play attacking football,i think we are going to see at least four goals in this game....

Gimnástic - Villarreal
I was hoping for little bet of higher odds for Gimnastic ,mostly becouse of that great result of Villarreal last week but i hope I’m going to have around @3.00+ before the start of the game, they are already back to secunda but at home they are playing great and i just don`t think that Villarreal is going to get something from this game.

Osasuna - Zaragoza
Osasuna is focused on UEFA cup and Zaragoza is my bet in this game ,at home they are winless six rounds 0-4-2,Zaragoza is in the race for CL place and they are in good form
H2H
Zaragoza didn`t lost a game in this visit since 2001... 1-3-0

Santander - La Coruna
Above evens for Santander it`s reasonable price i could go with them if team news are good

Sevilla - Espanyol
Sevilla is going to take everything from this game and maybe tired legs for both teams are going to be big factor in this game so i could try 1-0 cs Sevilla won 3 games in last 4 seasons with that result .

Barcelona - Levante
Is Levante going to pay for that mistake against Villarreal ?
Probable.....
But Barca was playing friendly game in Egypt and they could have problems from the trip.
Barca is going to take 3 pts from this game but i just don`t think that they are going to cover that stupid handicap -2 that most of the bookies are having as a line.....

Bilbao - Real Madrid
Game of the week....
Both teams need points from this game
Real @1.65 c`mon ,they are playing better but not that good)
Bilbao was trashed last week in Sevilla but i wouldn`t never underrated them at home ,yes they are class below Real if we are looking the players but at home ground they could make miracle and that price from Bwin@4.65 is just stupid(or maybe I’m stupid )...

Re: Spain 27/29 April

Salamanca - Malaga
Regardless of the fact i hate those bastards from Malaga i think they could take something from this game.

Ejido - Cadiz
Both teams are out of form maybe this game is more important for Ejiho they still need couple of more points to be absolutely safe but still this game is big no bet for me.....

Xerez - Almeria
Match without any meaning for both teams and i that king of game i fancy Almeria they are in superb form and they are playing great away what was there’s biggest problem this season.

Ciudad de Murcia - Castellon
Castellon@5.00 is crazy price ....
Cuidad is one of the best home teams in Secunda but Castellon lately is playing excellent and they could take something from this game.

Las Palmas - Hercules
Las Palmas is in deep shit they lost three games in a row and they need points desperately if team news is good this is going to be my main bet from Secunda

Gijon Sporting - Alaves
Away win
When Gijon is playing at home they are losing so away win

Valladolid - Murcia Real
Derby game.....
But is it going to be a real derby game ?
I don`t think so both teams are in Primera(Valladolid is mathematically promoted and they already celebrated) so i would prefer to go with over in this match, both with great forwards in the lineups and it should be plenty goals....

Elche - Real Madrid B
I fancy Elche but this is big no bet for me.....

Lorca - Tenerife
Lorca won two games at home and all of sudden they are favorites
Tenerife could take something from this game........

Numancia - Albacete
Only bet that is on my mind is over2,5...

Ponferradina - Vecindario
Should i go with Ponferradina in this match ???
At those odds no way ...
Couple of week ago Vecindario was playing away against Valladolid and then odds for home win war 1.25-1.35 and this time they are playing against a team that is three classes below and odds are slightly better
I understand that they need points but Vecindario is same class as Ponferradina....
I would prefer to go with over in this game

not necessary my friend...

Atletico Madrid - Betis

Just can't see the home team get away with the 3 points here. Betis are motivated and lost only one of the last five away from home. True, Madrid should be motivated too, but, at least in my point of view, not as much as the 4 point from the red zone Betis. The home team will miss some first line-up players like Luccin in the center and mista upfront.

Betis to get at least one point here, odds around 2.05 looks good.

Re: Spain 27/29 April

Shai7 i fancy Atletico Madrid today but no bet becouse odds are too low...
Both teams with plenty of players missing....
Atletico
Quote:
The defeat in San Sebastian was compounded by the dismissals of Brazilian centre back Fabiano Eller and French midfielder Peter Luccin, both for arguing with the referee, which means both key players are suspended.

Midfielder Gabi and forward Mista also collected yellows that puts them out of contention.

Portuguese midfielder Maniche is a doubt after recent surgery, while long-term absentees Bulgarian winger Martin Petrov and Argentinian forward Maxi Rodriguez are not yet ready to play a full 90 minutes.
Betis
Quote:
Goalkeeper Pedro Contreras was harshly sent off in the penalty incident, and Brazilian forward Edu and midfielder Miguel Angel soon followed as they overstepped the mark with their protests. Midfielder Arzu was also given a two-match suspension for haranguing the referee in the tunnel afterwards.

Miguel Angel's red card was rescinded but the other three remain suspended for Saturday.

Re: Spain 27/29 April

Quote:
Sevilla
First-choice goalkeeper Andres Palop is available again after injury and could start, but striker Frederic Kanoute will be rested.

Espanyol
Striker Raul Tamudo and playmaker Ivan De La Pena are both doubtful and will not be risked by coach Ernesto Valverde ahead of Thursday's second leg against Werder.

With winger Luis Garcia also out through suspension, Valverde will give starts to Brazilian midfielder Jonatas and young striker Ferran Corominas, scorer of Espanyol's third goal in Europe on Thursday.

Espanyol are the only Primera Liga side not to have been beaten by Sevilla since Juande Ramos took over two years ago, but the Spanish coach does not believe in dwelling on the past.

Barcelona
Mexico defender Rafael Marquez returns for Rijkaard's side after missing the defeat at Villarreal.
The former Monaco player was rested for that match, but looks set to return to the back four in place of French defender Lilian Thuram, who was blamed by many for both Villarreal goals last Sunday.

Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi and Samuel Eto'o start up front, while Argentina striker Javier Saviola could get a cameo appearance from the bench, despite newspaper reports claiming he had signed for Real Madrid this week.

Levante
Goalkeeper Pablo Cavallero is suspended and will be replaced by 19 year-old Juan Antonio Tejera.

Celta
And the bad news for coach Stoichkov is that he will be without leading scorer Fernando Baiano because of a knee injury.

Aside from that though, the Bulgarian has pretty much a full-strength squad available for a match he believes is absolutely vital.

Mallorca
Mallorca picked up a club-record sixth successive home victory last Sunday when they beat Gimnastic Tarragona 1-0 at the Ono Estadi.

Never before had a Mallorca side won six consecutive matches in the Primera Liga, even under big-name coaches Luis Aragones and Hector Cuper, who both managed five.

The Balearic Island club have needed that good home form though, as their away results have been little short of dismal recently.

Since becoming the first - and so far only - team to win at Sevilla this season back in mid-January, Mallorca have taken just one point from a possible 18 on their travels.

Athletic Bilbao
The Basque outfit are one of three clubs never to have been relegated from La Liga - the others being Barcelona and Sunday's opponents Madrid - but that proud record looks in serious danger as they sit just two points above the drop zone following last weekend's 4-1 defeat at Sevilla.

Javi Martinez looks set to return after recovering from an ankle injury, but Tiko, Pablo Orbaiz and Javi Casas are all still likely to be sidelined.

Veteran striker Ismael Urzaiz and goalkeeper Daniel Aranzubia are doubts.

Real Madrid
With four victories in their last five league games, and just one defeat in 10, Real Madrid are La Liga`s form team heading into this weekend's clash at San Mames.

Capello has Ivan Helguera and Emerson available, but Roberto Carlos, Michel Salgado and Antonio Cassano are sidelined.

Racing Santander
Miguel Angel Portugal is hoping to have in-form strike pairing Pedro Munitis and Nicola Zigic available for the clash.

The duo, who between them have netted 14 league goals this season, have been struggling with knocks, but Portugal said: ``The medical team are optimistic about the participation of Munitis, who has recovered already, and of Zigic.

``The Serbian has suffered an inflammation in his ankle and we hope that he can play against Deportivo.''

Deportivo La Coruña
Argentinian defender Fabricio Coloccini is banned for Depor, but Spain international full-back Joan Capdevila, providing he is fit, will be available after completing his own suspension.

Osasuna
Osasuna's injury crisis has improved dramatically and their only fitness doubts for this weekend seem to be Javier Flano and Javad Nekounam.

Real Zaragoza
Zaragoza hope to have Argentinian playmaker Pablo Aimar fit after he missed the game against Celta, but Brazilian defender Gustavo Nery is definitely out

Huelva is good team but i think today they are going home with plenty of goals in the net but on the other side they have excellent stickers so it`s not going to be a surprise if they score one or two.
