Re: Irish Football - 4/5th Nov

Looks like Northern Irish football is all the rage now. Everyone's doing that now instead of Irish stuff.

Bohemians to win at home. 1.93 on Betfair. Looks sound to me.

Looks good to me too Acapulco. Anyone agree that knows anything about the games? Surely there gotta be a good bet to be had somewhere. Sod it i'll go have a look and i dont do Irish - oooer

Nah i cant be arsed either. To think the Irish thread used to lay claims to be bigger and better than the Aussie State Football thread in the summer.

Re: Irish Football - 4/5th Nov

Well how the fcuking hell are we all doin?

had me big mad text typed and lost it on submission god thats frustrating

so to save myself another hour i'm just gonna say ; Premier; Bohs and Harps home wins.
Waterford v Cork overs, though alot will be tempted by home win after the blues result in Derry last week. One swallow doesn't.... I'll resist and stick with the overs. Cork scre for fun on the road and Waterford are decent from set -pieces.

other games - no bets! but i expect Derry win , Pats v Rovers draw, ditto Drogs v Shels

In the first, Limerick and Cobh home wins. Limerick lost 3 times to Dundalk already this season so the omens are not good. But after reading local press, captain Finucane says they are fired up to win and try for the play off spot.
Cobh are a decent side home or away, and Dublin shitty have fallen away recetly.

I won't risk Kilkenny this week as they are away and also as Athlone are improving and had a useful win last week.

I'll try get back later with team news.

Och aye the noo Madferret Im easily entertained. Good luck tonight whatever you go for Madferret. I know more about the Rose of Tralee than Irish football.

Finn's Carnigie thread is becoming popular too. We had the break up of the old Soviet union and the Berlin Walll coming down. Lets all take a moment and pray for the 2 Irish threads to be merged and to become one sometime soon.

Aye we like World Peace on The Daily Punt Madferret especially if it cuts down on threads being here there and everywhere. The Welsh thread near got thrown out because of the troubles. I shouldnt talk about it nas it is a sensitive subject as it is a bit of a civil war really. Anyhow. No one a late fancy? (oooer)

OkeeDokee

had a quick scout about the place and have not see anything that would make me change my earlier predictions, so i won't dwell.

Just to note; Bohemians are without Kelly(midfield) and O'Keefe(striker) .Even with reservations, with Hunt and Farrelly in the centre, they'll still be too strong for Longford.

Re: Irish Football - 4/5th Nov

Ooooooohhhh Derry one nil up and Cork losing at half time, title could be on its way North. Still time for the langers to come back though.

Bohemians one up also Player - manager Gareth Farrelly, ex Bolton (and I think Everton also???).
