Turkey 21/05

Diyarbakir v Rizespor 1/2 13/5 9/2

Was wondering if anyone could help me out here. Both these teams are on bad runs, losing something like their last 5 games. Rizespor are down to 8th but have been higher most season while their opponents are 4th from bottom. Now i know both teams are on a poor run but surely a X2 wouldnt be a bad shout

Rizespor beat them 3-0 in the reverse fixture earlier this season. Anyone have any views on this?

Re: Turkey 21/05

Its another of these "need to win/need the points" games Kiko.

I noticed Rizespor were beaten by the team directly below Diyarbakir, Sakaryaspor, 3-0 a couple of away games ago. Rizespors recent form is poor but Diyarbakir's looks worse, lost 6 in a row.

Btw, the team in 3rd bottom, Sakaryaspor, are about 1.20 or so today to beat bottom of the league and relegated Sebatspor. While they are not 3rd bottom for nothing they do look like they will beat a side with 3 points from 42pts away from home. However 1.20 is too short for me for a side such as this, you don't get to 3rd bottom by being a decent side.

However assuming they do win you can see why Diyarbakir are so short. If they don't win today they will probably fall into a relegation place. 1.5 would be a lay rather than a back for me if I was betting but I will be leaving it alone.

Re: Turkey 21/05

I'd be very wary of backing the home team here as the game will be played behind closed doors. Diyarbakirspor have been served with a 3 game ban after fan violence in the match with Fenerbahce.

I'd say you were spot on with regards to value being on X2 Kiko. I doubt I'll have an interest though.

Re: Turkey 21/05

Well it ended up 1-1. So i was correct if my suggested lay of the home team. Shame i got greedy and went for the outright win
