Switzerland Super League Sun 11th Mar

match Sion v Grasshoppers could be interesting. Sion lost their topscorerer Kuljic yesterday and as they don't tend to score many goals anyway I am tending towards under and away win.
Any opinions?

Switzerland Challenge League Sun 11th Mar

I've backed Baulmes with small stakes @ 2.25 by Expekt. Hopefully they'll have something to celebrate in their new stadium on Sunday. It's a Derby, both teams out of form, no team news, but it would be so disappointing for Baulmes if they get beaten in their first match in their newly invested stadium.
Any opinions??

Re: Austria + Switzerland 10-11 March

I have to admit I know nothing about Swiss football, Diomed, but I always prefer to avoid (or even oppose) teams moving to a new ground. The fact it's a new ground takes away a large part of the home advantage, the feeling of familiarity with where they're playing. The away side will be just as (un)familiar with the ground as the home team is. Obviously it would be disappointing for Baulmes if they don't win, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. Look at Arsenal in their new ground this season, their first two games at home ended in disappointing draws against Aston Villa and Middlesborough.

The fact that it's a local derby would also put me off - anything can happen in those kind of games, and I'm sure their opponents would love to make their rival's first game in their new ground a miserable one.

Good luck if you go with them though

Re: Austria + Switzerland 10-11 March

SK Sturm Graz v Austria Vienna 2 @ 2.45

Great chance for the most famous Austrian team to finally escape from the last place at the table.
Austria has strengthened their squad for the second part of Champ. and started well.
In fist round, they have lead 0-2 at Tirol, but after two goals conceded at the end, managed to take only one point.
Last week Austria won at home vs. Rapid , 2-1.
Rapid also won vs. Altach as guest last week, but I think that Austria is stronger team at the moment, bookies also think that ,so they put hosts as underdog.

I rate Salzburg and Basel as clear home wins.

Re: Austria + Switzerland 10-11 March

Looks just like one of them weeks Charly. I presume you would have chances to win it. anyone got any sites that offer match reports on the Austrian and swiss leagues in English? I'm sorry but my German is nein gut even though i studied it at school. The only thing i had going for me speaking German wise was that as a Scottish lad in London the german teacher said i was great at German pronunciation due to the way i say 'loch' etc. I tried to pass a test once by writing out Nena's 99 Luft balloon lyrics

Does anyone have any more info on the Sion game Diomed mentions?

thanks
