Lens v Sedan
Champions League hopefuls Lens entertain plucky Sedan who are down, but not out, at the bottom of Ligue 1.
Second-placed Lens, fresh from their
UEFA Cup first leg success on Thursday, face a resurgent Sedan side who be looking for their third consecutive league win.
Francis Gillot's team banished the memories of a shock defeat by amateurs Montceau in the French Cup a fortnight ago with a fine victory against Marseille last Sunday and continued their run of wins with a 2-1 victory in Europe against Bayer Leverkusen during the week.
'Les Sang et Or' welcome back Nenad Kovacevic and Milan Bisevac (pictured above) for the visit of Sedan, the pair having been unavailable for the
UEFA Cup with Daniel Cousin, a scorer against the Germans, also expected to start.
Although bottom of the league, Sedan, sinc the start of the year are proving no pushovers and have battled valiantly in recent weeks, recording precious victories against Rennes and PSG. With 11 games to go, time is running out for 'Les Sangliers' to pull clear of the bottom three but if their recent form is anything to go by, they have an excellent chance of doing so.
Cameroon attacker Joseph-Désiré Job with seven goals in 16 league appearances has been an instrumental part in Sedan's recent revival along with Romain Sartre, Nasser Ouadah and Alaeddine Yahia, all who all missed much of the first half of the season. All four should start against Lens as Sedan enter the home straight in the race for ligue 1 survival
