Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
I fancy Racing Santander at home@ 2.1 local
They are in good form lately with only one lost from 7 against Barcelona and good comeback against Celta.
Osasuna with a busy schedule and have won just one of their last six La Liga matches.
Sportinglife.com
"After the cup elimination, I think the time has come to concentrate on the league, with the added prize of the UEFA Cup," said midfielder David Lopez.
"We know that the priority is the league and we must add these three points to feel the calm that we need and be on the road to safety."
Lopez knows his side will need to pay special attention to Racing's strike duo of Nikola Zigic and Pedro Munitis, but he has also warned of the collective threat posed by the Cantabrian side.
"With regards to our opponents, much has been said of their two strikers, but they also have a very solid and difficult side as a whole," Lopez said.
Ziganda, who called up a number of his youth team players for the cup match, again looks likely to be without injured duo Valmiro Valdo and Ludovic Delporte for this weekend's game.
Racing's battling qualities came to the fore again last weekend as they hit back from 2-0 down to claim a point from their trip to Celta Vigo.
Munitis and Cristian Alvarez netted the goals in the second half as Racing, whose only defeat in their last seven matches came against Barcelona at the Nou Camp, kept their place in the top 10.
Veteran forward Munitis said: "We cannot allow what happened to us against Celta to happen in another game. We were able to tie, and we almost got a winner, but we were quickly in trouble at the start of the game."
Racing coach Miguel Angel Portugal, who will be missing injury victims Luis Fernandez, Jose Moraton and David Aganzo, believes the match against Osasuna is a key one for his side.
"It is a very important game because it will define our immediate future," said the coach.
"We will know if we are going to be fighting for the higher places, or if we will be fighting with a group of teams who are likely to have difficulties until the end of the season."

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
In Segunda B group 1, Lanzarote are unbeaten in 4 overall, and are 4-5-1 for last 10 homes (defeat against ULPGC, who are 2nd). Atletico B away from home 1-2-9, only win was on the opening day of the season. H2H in Lanzarote 3-0-1 for the home side. Lanzarote only missing one player to injury, Atletico missing one to suspension and 4 to injury. Home win for me in this one @ 1.909 with Sporting Odds. Game kicks off at 11:30 UK time
Lanzarote v Atletico Madrid B @ 1.909 3pts
More on another game in a bit, just posting that now as kick off's only 45 mins away.

Kasabian were good, Winrew, but I'm still gutted I missed the match. Second half was underway by the time the concert finished, listened to the 2nd half on the radio in the car on the way home, was just pulling into the garage at home as the final whistle went. Still, Sevilla win, just what I wanted, for last night and for my ante-post bet
Ourense won too, Murcia only drew though.
Anyway, back to today, one more game has caught my eye in Segunda B group 1. Universidad Las Palmas Gran Canaria (ULPGC) v Leganes is 2nd v 10th, but maybe not so clear-cut. ULPGC started the season on fire, especially at home, won their first 6 homes, scoring 19 and conceding 0. Since then their home record's not so impressive though. 3-2-2, with defeats against the teams in 13th and 15th. Leganes meanwhile have impressive away form, 6-3-3. They're 11pts off the play-offs with 13 games to go, so their season's not completely over yet. Huge price of 7.4 was available on Betfair for Leganes, although I've just taken what was available of that. 7.2 still available though, seems a huge price to me. Can't find any team news though, but the price just looks too big to resist.
ULPGC v Leganes @ 7.4 (minus commission) 2pts
Edit - Kick off is midday UK time

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
I don`t fancy anything today in secunda
Cuidad is great at home but Elche is playing good right now and both team are having some important players out and best bet is no bet
Numancia should win but odds are shite, maybe RC is right should be goals but i just don`t like betting on this game......
Sporting is too short i was thinking of going with them and i realy don`t think Real is capable of winning this time.....
Ehido should take 3 pts at home they are too good for Poneferradina.
Valladolid was playing cup game couple of days ago and even i would love to play against them Salamanca is not in great form they are having problems with scoring goals(they score twice in last seven games)and today they are playing with scoring machine ,Valladolid is having problems with injuries but still they are playing great and if they score today they are leaving with at least a point.
Xerez-Lorca ,what a crap team are this two ,and odds 1.65 for Xerez are joke ,yes Lorca is crap when is playing away but Xerez is in the same class they just don`t know how to score a goal and today they are big favorites f..k that they should be at least 1.95 ,just for fun I’m going to place a bet on Lorca @5.50
Lorca@5.5...1 pt

Lanzarote only managed a 2-2 draw in the other game, although apparently they should've gone in about 3-0 up at half-time.

I had Racing on my shortlist, Blackadder, and I've been thinking on this one for quite a while now. Everything looks right for the home win - Racing strong at home, Osasuna poor of late, Racing with no real injury worries. Yet for some reason, I just get a bad feeling about this one. Have no idea why, and I hope Racing go on to win for you, but I'm reluctantly going to give this one a miss.
One more bet for me this afternoon. Getafe without a few players up front, Madrid expected to be without van Nistelrooy, and Raul definitely out. Madrid struggle for goals at home (just 12 scored in 11 games), their last 3 homes have ended with 1 goal or less, as have 5 of Getafe's 11 away games this season.
All in all, I'd expect a low scoring game.
Real Madrid v Getafe - LAY 2 or more goals @ 1.48 (minus 1% commission) - liability 3pts

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
Going by Marca's text commentary, sounds like Getafe have been the better side and are unlucky not to be in front at the break. Worth a small interest in Getafe to win this one in the second half, I think, at this kind of price.
Real Madrid v Getafe @ 7.2 (minus commission) 2pts
