Germany Bundesliga 2 - 14.10.2011: Paderborn - Braunschweig
Paderborn - Braunschweig Betting Odds, Soccer - 2. Bundesliga Paderborn (+0) Odds: 1.92 (SBOBET) Stake: 5/10 Since I am under big pressure of time, not much time to write a lot here but I want to explain you the most important things. Paderborn and Braunschweig have both been the biggest suprise teams of the league so far. Both expected as relegation spot battlers, they showed that they can be succesful without a lot of money and famous players, too. To me the main reason to take the level ball for the home team is the fact how Braunschweig recently performed in away matches. I recently backed them twice away from home with +0.25 line away against poor Rostock and with the 0 line away to Frankfurt. Both times, Braunschweig played against extremely poor opponents. Rostock and Frankfurt did both not create any opportunity what of course shows how strong Braunschweig's defence is. But the main point is that Braunschweig did not even try to win and they have not been better either. It was especially shocking that they were only able to take the draw from Frankfurt where they played against a completely pathetic team. But Braunschweig's calculation is: 3 points at home and 1 point away which makes an average of 2 points. So they did not win away against really poor teams like Frankfurt and Rostock and now they should achieve a victory in Paderborn? No way. Paderborn has a very strong defence, they are able to break very fast and they are clinical in front of the opponent's goal. Euphoria atmosphere in the club and the city is great, home factor is likely to turn the scale although they are a few doubts in the defence. Paderborn's form is simply perfect and they play very strong at home at the moment and I can not see them losing in this shape against Braunschweig who perform so harmless away. Braunschweig will aim for a 0:0 or something like that. Quality of both teams is absolutely even, I do not see many differences here but form and home factor turn the scale and hence a clear bet on the hosts tonight. Under 2.5 makes sense too but history proves that betting on goal lines is too much gambling and too much variance there at all. |

Re: Germany, 14 Oct - 17 Oct
Paulis best striker Ebbers sustained an injury while warming up .. very good for us.
Germany Bundesliga 2 - 16.10.2011: Sankt Pauli - Fortuna Dusseldorf St. Pauli - Dusseldorf Betting Odds, Soccer - 2. Bundesliga Fortuna Dusseldorf (+0.5) Odds: 1.82 (PinnacleSports) Stake: 5/10 Half ball on Dusseldorf is too good to miss out in this situation. Sankt Pauli has a very hot atmosphere in their own stadium and actually home advantage should be very huge for them. But in fact, they did much better in away games so far which has mainly two reasons. First of all, motivation for away teams if they play in Sankt Pauli's stadium under floodlight is always higher than in a normal away match. Prior to each game if a team plays in Hamburg, they say that this the most special game for them and the highlight of the season. Even spiritless Duisburg showed a very good display when they played a Monday night match in Hamburg and they only lost through a last minute goal of Pauli. Or Erzgebirge Aue was in a crisis but they won 3:2 in Sankt Pauli and the team showed some reat motivation. The second reason is that Pauli can not make the running. Their 4-1-4-1 system has a very strong midfield, perhaps even the strongest midfield of the league but the strikers do not score goals. Players like Kruse and Bartels are perfect for fast breaks but they usually do not get so much space in home matches. Best example was vs. poor Duisburg at home when they had problems to create opportunities but could score through a fast break after a Duisburg corner. But Dusseldorf is not as stupid as Duisburg and their tactical behaviour is much better. With regard to the quality, Dusseldorf and Pauli are exactly at the same level. Dusseldorf's defence is better but Pauli has the stronger midfield. Howsoever it will be a very, very balanced match and Pauli simply did not convince so far in home games. Their 3:1 home victory against pathetic side Aachen was lucky and because of the fact that the referee advantaged them. Then the 2:1 against Duisburg was not convincing at all as well and through a last minute goal. Against 1860, they were 0:2 behind but 1860's joke defence invited them and Pauli scored 3 goals in 9 minutes. Nevertheless not very convincing at all. And then they even lost 2:3 at home against below average side Erzgebirge Aue. I really think that we will see an extremely balanced game and it is a matter of common knowledge that you win such games with a good defence. And Dusseldorf's defence is clearly better and less error-prone. Also, Dusseldorf's very important midfielder Bodzek is back after suspension and they are full-strength. And in top clashes, Dusseldorf always convinced so far. For example they were clearly superior away against the best team of the league (Frankfurt) and got a draw there (was a Monday night clash too). To sum up I expect an extremely balanced match here, Pauli will have problems to score because they will not get so much space and I do not see them being able to beat Dusseldorf tonight who are unbeaten since several months. |

Re: Germany, 14 Oct - 17 Oct
Leverkusen-Schalke
The two teams are both involved in the UEFA Champions League this mid-week. Since the two are comparable in performance, this match a draw may turn out. |
