Taking the level ball on Braunschweig in this match because I simply can not see them losing and because I think that they are the better team with the much better form at the moment. Also, we may not forget that Frankfurt is the club with smallest home advantage of the league. They only play in a very small stadium in front of roughly 3000 people and they do not have any home support. You also see it in the way how they perform at home. They are not really stronger at home than away, barely any difference between the performance level in home and away games. More than 1000 fans of Braunschweig will travel to Frankfurt to support their club which means that it will rather be a home than an away match for them. But nevertheless I think that Braunschweig has much more quality in the team, compared to Frankfurt. The most important point is the defence. Braunschweig does have the best defence of the league in my opinion, they simply do not allow any goal chances. And keeping in mind that Frankfurt is a team with a ridicolous bad conversion of chances, I really can't see them scoring tonight. Frankfurt's defence however is rather weak, especially in the central defence. Heitmeier's missing is a big blow at all and Schlicke will replace him. Schlicke is most likely to replace him but he has one big problem: he is extremely slow and only good in the air. But this is not really good from Frankfurt's point of view because Braunschweig does only play flat balls and their strength are their fast strikers. Hence, I think that Schlicke as well as the other central defender Gledson who has also the same problems, will struggle a lot. Many people say that Braunschweig is one of these teams who are much stronger at home than away due to their great home crowd but this is not true. Their fast shifting and the fact that they are so good on the break means that they are really strong travellers. Today Braunschweig will again be able to perform observant and then being clinical in front of Frankfurt's goal. And an important thing is really that the home factor is extremely little in this match. If it would be a home match for Braunschweig, line would probably be between -0.75 and -1 on Braunschweig and I do not see reasons why Frankfurt should have a better chance today because Braunschweig is simply much better in terms of quality. Nevertheless Braunschweig's striker Kumbela is out due to suspension which makes them weaker but I know their other striker Fetsch very well and he is a fine replacement as well.
To sum up, I think that Frankfurt will not be able to beat the suprise team of the league Braunschweig. They are not a bad football team but they have a horrible conversion of chances, a too little home advantage and bad self-confidence after the 0:4 defeat last week against 1860. They are still without a home victory in a season and were even unable to beat extremely poor travellers like Union, Aue and Duisburg. Braunschweig will not in a thousand years lose this match. I think that 0:1 or 0:2 is the most likely result.
