Hi Mord, I was looking at 2 games this weekend:

Mlada v Slovacko
Slovacko always a good home side, but poor on the road. Lost the last 4 and took a real pasting at Brno. I remember you saying Mlada were not playing as good as their results suggested, but have 4-1-0 in the last 5 at home, including beating top of the table Plzen.

Teplice v Bohemians
Teplice were going well, winning the last 3 at home in the league, but then dropped points at Plzen last week and fell in the cup too. I noticed you also mentioned they had a few injuries at the back too? Bohemians are always a side I look to oppose away from home - should be 3 points for Teplice?

I was also wondering about Sigma this weekend Mord. I notice they've fallen off the pace, but do think they could bounce back v Ceske? Ceske have put some good results together and always seem to be tough to beat when I back against them!!

my bet on Boleslav

Mlada Boleslav - Slovacko

Boleslav is in very good form now, once again they are one of the best home teams with 5-2-0 and they were the only team that was able to beat till that time unstoppable Plzen. I like the way they play at home with fast combinations and big pressure.
Slovacko on the other side fall into crisis, their last good game was against Sigma at home, where they lost 0-2, but showed good football. Than came the game against Brno where not everything was clean for me after the game and where Slovacko lost 7-0 to Brno. The bad result from Brno was still in players head in last home game against Liberec where they lost 0-1 at home. The gap between the way they played at home earlier this season and last game was obvious. Moreover key deffensive shield midfielder Kordula will be out due to 4 yellow cards.
I really like this spread, IMO Boleslav will win this with bigger goal difference, Slovacko is traditionaly bad away from their stadium (1-0-6), now even without one key player and very bad mood in the team.

I would deffinitely skip Teplice against Bohemians, same reasons that I wrote two weeks ago, when they played against Hradec (2-1 with very late goal for Teplice with the same spread -1), they are simply not the team that can play against good deffensive team, they are better when they play from their deffensive block and play on fast Mahmutovic in the attack, surely no value with this odds, Bohemians can be dangerous from counters


Sigma Olomouc - Ceske Budejovice

Sigma had very bad last week where they only took draw against third league Pisek in first leg of czech cup (3-3) and lost in Hradec Kralove 0-1. I have to say that the game against Hradec was the worst football from Sigma this season, they controled the ball, but were absolutely impotent in the attack and some of the players looked like they are playing on 10% of their standard.
Budejovice won last two games, the cup game in Teplice and league game at home against Brno. But I wouldn´t really overestimated both results, Budejovice are this season very good at home, but they are very bad travelers. Budejovice lost after horrible performance last two away games, where even low scoring team like Pribram was able to press them and win the match by two goals, Slavia scored 4 times to their net and I expect something like this in Olomouc. Budejovice are traditionaly after good home game like on the schooltrip next away game. On the other side Sigma will hunger for good result, they had whole week to get rid of the bad mood. This will be very important game for the home team to climb back to the top places.
Sigma is much better team at home than away, they scored 17 times at home and got only 3 goals. Back in team will be important deffensive midfielder Rossi.
IMO Sigma wil win this game with higher goal margin.

Top stuff Mord.

I will take your advice on Teplice. I backed them in the game against Hradec and remember they needed 2 goals in the last 10 minutes, could be the same again v Bohemians.

A Sigma/Mlada double looks good to me. Good luck mate.

Boleslav was better, they were pressing Slovacko, but they were less effective then Slovacko, that scored 3 times from 4 counter attacks -3u
