Viktoria Plzen - Usti nad Labem

Plzen is now first team in the table and they are playing with Sigma the best football in the league - whole match pressing the opponent with a waves of attacks. Players like Horvath, Rezek, Kolar and Petrzela are now in top form and have no problems with scoring goals. I was afraid of a national teams break, that the team will lost its rhytm, but they played two games (one friendly with 5th league team and one cup game with second league team) and score 15 goals in those two games, so no problems with scoring. Plzen won the european city of culture competition and whole city is in euphory and they will surely connect this with the football game on sunday, the stadium will be full and the players will surely try to score as much as possible.
Usti is a newbie, they don´t play bad foootball, but the quality is much lower that Plzens, I saw them against Sigma and they simply can´t catch the fast attacks, moreover Usti players looked exhausted after 75 minutes of play in a Sigma game.
IMO -1.5 is value spread, I think Plzen will win this with higher margin than 2 goals.

I agree with you on Plzen, on current form it looks like a clear home win.

What are your thoughts on Teplice v Brno? Teplice have won their last 3 and seem to have found some form, where Brno have been struggling all season. Even with their re-inforcements, they lost 0-5 at home to Sparta last time. Thinking of the home win myself.

Sigma Olomouc - Mladá Boleslav

Sigma is unstoppable at home with 10-1 from three games, always playing 4-3-3 where is whole team trying to attack. Some of the players have the form of their lives, the team is working greatly and the hunger for league football will be big after the national break. Out is still longterm injured captain Kucera and not regular midfielder Melinho.
Boleslav is now 4th in the table, but their performance is very unbalanced, they are able to beat strong opponents and than lost in Brno by three goals and I don´t see any consitence in their play. They are usualy better in attack than in deffence and I expect that they will play on counter attacks.
As I said Boleslav is better in attack, the deffence is not working well and made a lot of stupid mistakes and this could be crucial in this game. Sigma have four very difficult games ahead - Boleslav, Liberec, Teplice and Sparta, so they will surely try to win this game and get closer to first Plzen. Sigma didn´t beat Boleslav in last 5 meeting so there is an extra motivation for whole team, I´m sure that coach Psotka will prepare the team for Boleslav and they will win this.
