Friday:

RW Ahlen (17th) - TuS Koblenz (18th) - I will go for Koblenz in this match at that pretty good odds. Ahlen is facing up an injury crisis and Koblenz must win this match.
Greuther Furth (8th) - Union Berlin (10th) - Furths best strikers Allagui and Nöthe are injured and that will be a heavy disadvantage for Furth. But Berlin was so poor at last and so I won't have a bet on this match.
Alemannia Aachen (13th) - Arminia Bielefeld (5th) - I will have a bet on Bielefeld. Bielefeld fired their coach today and an interim coach will do the job tommorow. Aachens team has got big trouble with their coach and they are playing a poor season (3 consecutive defeats at last).

Saturday:

Karlsruher SC (12th) - Augsburg (2nd) - I will back Karlsruhe again. Augsburg was inapprehensible lucky at last and KSC plays very good at the moment.
Energie Cottbus (12th) - Alemannia Aachen (11th) - Cottbus showed very poor performances at last. Aachen had misfortune on Monday when they lost against D'dorf and the Aachen coach went postal after the defeat. Moreover Aachen is facing up a heavy injury crisis but Cottbus is too poor to have a bet on them.

Sunday:

1860 Munich (10th) - St. Pauli (3rd) - 1860 was poor last Friday and St. Pauli is in a crisis, too. St. Pauli without 4 important key players and that is the reason why I will not touch St. Pauli.
FSV Frankfurt (16th) - Fortuna Dusseldorf (4th) - Frankfurt is currently in a very good form. But Dusseldorf is the better side I am pretty sure but Dusseldorf is a poor away side. Difficult to pick up a winning team here.

Sunday:

Paderborn (7th) - Hansa Rostock (15th) - Paderborn had misfortune last Sunday and they play very good offensive football at the moment. But Rostock may not lose here and although the odds for home win seem to be alluring I will not touch this game.
Kaiserslautern (1st) - Cottbus (11th) - Kaiserslautern with problems last weekend against currently strong FSV Frankfurt. Cottbus was better at last and I think that their crisis is over now. I think that it won't be easy for Kaiserslautern to win here .. but I am not brave enough to have a bet on X2 here.
Sankt Pauli (3rd) - RW Oberhausen (14th) - St. Pauli in a heavy crisis while Oberhausen is in an upswing at the moment. But St. Pauli is much better normally and so I won't have a bet on that match.

Monday:

Duisburg (6th) - 1860 Munich (9th) - I can not pick up a winning team here on the first view. I will await the team news on Monday but I think that I won't bet this match.

FRIDAY: Rot-Weiss Ahlen - TuS Koblenz

Erst einmal ein paar Worte zu Rot-Weiss Ahlen. Ahlen in der Hinrunde noch als die Lachnummer der Liga bekannt, mittlerweile ein ernst zu nehmender Gegner. 4 Siege aus den letzten 6 Spielen sind durchaus überraschend, ein Grund dafür, sind aber die sinnvollen Verstärkungen in der Winterpause. Zugegebenermaßen waren die Siege zuletzt aber teilweise auch glücklich. Gegen akut kriselnde Oberhausener gewann man in einem absoluten Kampfspiel knapp mit 1:0 und die Woche darauf 1:0 in München (mit viel Glück, außerdem war das Spiel wohl manipuliert). Danach gegen schwache Bielefelder etwas unglücklich 0:1 verloren, aber bei den Platzverhältnissen war damals kein normales Fußballspiel möglich. In Düsseldorf ließ man sich dann mit 0:4 aus dem Stadion schießen, gegen sehr schwache und demotivierte Berliner gewann man dann verdient 3:2 und zuletzt 1:0 in Rostock. Union erwischte aber auch wirklich einen der schlechtesten Saisonauftritte und bei den Bodenverhältnissen war ein normales Spiel wieder kaum möglich. In Rostock würde derzeit wohl jedes Kreisliga-Team gewinnen, weil Rostock nicht in der Lage ist, das Tor des Gegners zu treffen. Jedenfalls will ich damit sagen, dass gegen Oberhausen und Rostock knapp gewonnen wurde und die Siege gegen München und Berlin waren gegen sehr demotivierte Gegner. Mit Bröker, N'Diaye (unfassbar wichtiger Spieler im Offensivspiel), Gorschlüter, Pelzer (5. Gelbe) und Stajic hat Ahlen momentan einige Spieler im Lazarett. Spielerisch sehe ich nur Book und Olle-Olle als annähernd fähig an, der Rest ist halt eine Kämpfertruppe. Ein Sieg in diesem Sechspunktespiel wäre für Ahlen natürlich super wichtig.
Koblenz hingegen zuletzt mit drei Niederlagen hintereinander, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass es in Ahlen nicht die vierte geben wird. Gerade gegen Augsburg und Berlin mit etwas Pech, davor spielte man gegen Rostock bsw. nur 0:0 trotz Feldüberlegenheit. Aber vom spielerischen und der Erfahrung her, sehe ich relativ deutliche Vorteile bei der TuS. Gunkel, Kapllani, Lense und Krontiris sind allesamt sehr zweitligaerfahrene Spieler, mit Pourie hat man vorne noch einen Youngster aus der 1860er Jugend geholt. Yelldell wird nach Verletzung im Tor Paucken ersetzen, das gibt einen zusätzlichen Rückhalt, weil Paucken mir nie wirklich gefiel. Personelle Probleme gibt es so gut wie gar keine, Hudec und Stieber sind die einzigen Spieler, die nicht zur Verfügung stehen. Unter der Woche las ich übrigens auch sehr viel auf der Koblenz-Website oder auch in anderen Medien und dort wurde klar deutlich, dass Koblenz unbedingt gewinnen will. Pourie beschrieb in einem Interview, dass unter der Woche alle zu 100% konzentriert waren und dass das Team extrem motiviert ist. Vorraussichtlich werden auch einige Koblenzer Fans im Wersestadion gastieren, ich erwarte also sogar ein Heimspiel in Ahlen. Viel mehr lässt sich zu diesem Spiel schon nicht mehr sagen. Jedenfalls erwarte ich ein unheimlich kampfbetontes Spiel, wo beide Teams 100% geben werden. Allerdings sehe ich spielerische und auch von der Erfahrung her Vorteile bei Koblenz. Koblenz zuletzt teilweise Pech gehabt, Ahlen am Limit und mit etwas Glück. Die Quoten auf das DNB beinhalten meiner Meinung nach Value, da Koblenz nicht verlieren darf und da Koblenz mit Krontiris, Kaplani und ggf. auch Skela die besseren Einzelspieler hat.

Ahlen was lucky at last. Their wins were often undeserved at last. For example they beat poor Oberhausen very curtly before some weeks. Their 1:0 win away against Munich was manipulated by the team from Munich probably (the game is a part of the betting scandal in Germany, the game was manipulated in favour of Ahlen). At last they beat Berlin at home with 3-2 but Berlin showed their poorest performance in the whole season. Last Friday they won 1-0 away in Rostock but this win was lucky, too and furthermore Rostock is the poorest side of the league at the moment. But furthermore Ahlen has got an injury crisis at the moment: Gorschlüter, Bröker and N'Diaye are injured and moreover Pelzer is suspended. And all this 4 players are very important starters for Ahlen. That could be a problem for them because I do not think that their squad is strong enough to compensate those injuries/suspensions. I can not see Ahlen winning here again because they were too lucky at last and because their injury problems are too huge. On the other hand Koblenz sold at less than fair value at last. They lost sometimes with bad luck and the game now is the most important game of the whole season for them. I read an interview with a player of Koblenz and he said that the team is extra motivated and that the players want to win unconditionally. I see an advantage for Koblenz, too because their players are just better than Ahlens players. Moreover Koblenz' main goalkeeper returns after a long injury. They have got some good expierenced players in the team and furthermore they are really unlucky at last. For example they lost against Augsburg (0-1) although the game was balanced. The odds for DNB win Koblenz are too good to miss them out.

FRIDAY: Alemannia Aachen - Arminia Bielefeld

Erstmal zu Aachen .. zuletzt dreimal hintereinander verloren, gegen 1860 und Düsseldorf aber zugegebenermaßen ausgesprochen knapp und auch unglücklich. Gegen Cottbus letzten Samstag war es dann aber wieder nichts. Eine Ursache dafür könnte folgende sein: die Chemie zwischen der Mannschaft und Trainer Michael Krüger stimmt einfach nicht. Seit seinem Amtsantritt konnte Aachen nie richtig überzeugen, gerade zu Hause am neuen Tivoli ist man alles andere als eine Heimmacht. Nach dem 0:1 gegen Düsseldorf rastete Krüger dann völlig aus und sagte u.a., dass er "Schmerzensgeld" verdient hätte, für das was er Woche für Woche mit Aachen durchmacht. Aber Aachen ist auch etwas vom Schicksal gebeutelt, über die ganze Saison hin weg hatte Aachen mit vielen Verletzungen zu kämpfen. Mit Stehle, Adlung, Fiel, Achenbach und Polenz konnten unter der Woche sich gleich 5 Spieler aus dem Lazarett verabschieden (Adlung war aber nicht verletzt, sondern gesperrt). Dass er zB. Stehle oder auch Polenz bringt, halte ich aufgrund der mangelnden Spielpraxis aber für äußerst unwahrscheinlich. Mit Müller, Junglas, Plaßhenrich, Daun (alles Langzeitverletzte), aber auch mit Casper und dem enorm wichtigen Kratz fehlen nachwievor einige wichtige Akteure. Tabellarisch gesehen ist Aachen mit 30 Punkten aber einigermaßen auf der sicheren Seite, auch wenn der Klassenerhalt noch nicht geschafft ist, weiß wohl jeder, dass da nicht mehr viel anbrennen wird. Aber trotzdem muss Aachen natürlich mal wieder gewinnen, aber das wird gegen Bielefeld sehr schwer.
Bielefeld hat prinzipiell gesehen eine sehr starke, Abwehr, auch wenn das bei den Gegentoren zuletzt gegen Duisburg und Karlsruhe etwas anders aussah. Vielleicht mangelte es da ja auch am Selbstvertrauen ... ach ja, bevor ich es vergesse: Bielefeld trennte sich heute Vormittag überraschend von Coach Gerstner. Der Grund sind hauptsächlich die verpatzten Heimspiele, wo Bielefeld einfach nicht mit dem Druck fertig wurde und nicht dazu in der Lage war das Spiel aufzuziehen. Dieses Problem hat also nicht nur Kaiserslautern, sondern auch Bielefeld tut sich schwer gegen sehr kompakte Abwehrreihen durchzustoßen. Dafür verantwortlich ist, die Tatsache, dass ein Spielmacher fehlt und das Spiel mit Federico steigt und fällt. Spielt Federico gut, dann gewinnt Arminia, spielt er schlecht, dann verlieren sie bzw. spielen Unentschieden. In Aachen wird Bielefeld aber vorraussichtlich nicht auf einen so tiefstehenden Gegner wie zuletzt den KSC treffen. Aachen will (wie man es auch gegen Düsseldorf gesehen hat) vor heimischen Publikum mutigen Fußball spielen und genau das wird Bielefeld in die Karten spielen. Mit Bollmann, Kirch, Delura und Neuzugang Toure fehlen zwar eine Hand voll Spieler, aber mir gefällt im offensiven die Variante Katongo-Federico-Halfar-Guela hinter Fort sowieso viel besser. Alle vier sind Spieler, die wirbeln können, mit Guela hat man einen sehr konterstarken Angreifer (das kann gegen Aachen u.U. von großem Vorteil sein). Mit Kauf kehrt auch der wichtigste Spieler und Rückhalt der Defensive wieder zurück, er wurde mit seiner Zweikampfsstärke gegen Karlsruhe klar vermisst. Alles in einem denke, ich dass Bielefeld hier gewinnen will und gewinnen muss, um im Aufstiegsrennen Anschluss zu halten. Deshalb nehme ich auch von dem DNB Abstand, da für Bielefeld nur ein Sieg zählt. Der Dammeier-Effekt (er übernimmt vorerst) wird wohl positiv sein, die Kauf-Rückkehr und die anderen Vorraussetzungen für dieses Spiel sprechen für Bielefeld. Ich sehe Arminia klar als Favorit und werde den Auswärtssieg mit moderatem Einsatz anspielen.

The coach from Aachen Michael Krueger said that he deserves solatium for watching Aachens performances. Aachen is facing up a crisis by the way, 3 consecutive defeats and the team is despaired. They have got big injury problems by the way. Polenz, Plaßhenrich, Daun, Müller, Junglas, Casper and Kratz are injured but some players (Fiel, Milchraum, Achenbach, Polenz and Stehle) returned after their injuries but they will not be fit in an instant. Aachen has got big problems at home in their new stadium .. they are always under pressure and that lead to counter attacks by the opponents (and Bielefeld is a very good counter attack side, no doubt). Aachen is under pressure and they will try to beat Bielefeld. That could be a disadvantage for them because Arminia Bielefeld will counter attack then.
Arminia Bielefeld fired their coach by the way! That was a suprise to me today morning when I heard it. The reasons were the poor home performances at last. Bielefeld has got two different faces away and at home: away they can counter attack and at home they are under big pressure because the fans are very critical. Furthermore their most important defender Rüdiger Kauf returns after his suspension. He will be so important for them because he is the most experienced player of the team. Bielefeld must win if they want to be promoted and a draw would not be enough for them. It will be an open game with two sides which want to win and I see a clearly advantage for Bielefeld.

Prediction: ARMINIA BIELEFELD @2,73 (PinnacleSports) / (SMALL-MEDIUM)

SATURDAY: Karlsruher SC - FC Augsburg

Erstmal ein paar Sätze zu Karlsruhe .. In den Medien wird Karlsruhe ständig schlecht geredet, allerdings sieht niemand so ganz, dass man in dem "rabenschwarzen" 2010 nie richtig schlecht spielte. Teilweise hatte man unfassbares Pech, aber am Montag wendete es sich gegen Bielefeld (1:0 Auswärtssieg) endlich zum Guten. Karlsruhes Defensive stand endlich wieder sehr kompakt, die Defensive wusste mit dem 17-Jährigen Youngster Zimmermann und der Innenverteidigung Matip/Langkamp zu überzeugen und auch der überraschend aufgestellte Demirtas (der statt Schäfer spielte) gefiel mir sehr gut. Davor dann die Doppel-Sechs, leider wird Engelhardt aufgrund der 5. Gelben Karte fehlen. Die Defensivleistung von Karlsruhe war absolut makellos, wobei gegen Augsburg natürlich ein anderes Offensivkaliber wartet. Vorne wird (auch wenn es gegen Bielefeld nicht zu sehen war) normalerweise immer sehr schnell durch den pfeilschnellen Krebs gekontert, aber jeder Spieler arbeitet nach hinten mit. Selbst Sturmspitze Chrisantus gewinnt auch mal Zweikämpfe im Mittelfeld. Dass das Team zu 100% hinter Coach Schupp steht, bewies man schon öfter, aber an der Personalie Schupp darf mMn kein Zweifel bestehen (der Präsident stärkte ihm ja auch nochmal den Rücken). Mit einem Sieg oder wenigstens einem Punkt gegen Augsburg könnte man dann endlich eine kleine Serie starten, das Potenzial ist zweifelsohne da.
Augsburg hingegen zuletzt wirklich mit mehr Glück als Verstand. Gegen Rostock, Koblenz und Paderborn spielte man dreimal nicht gut und trotzdem gewann man (auch aufgrund des überragenden Jentzsch). Auch Thurk ist nicht mehr so gefährlich wie noch im Januar/Februar und gerade auswärts tut sich das Team in der Vorwärtsbewegung oftmals sehr schwer. Die Tore in Rostock und Koblenz (die gleichzeitig auch die Siegtreffer waren), fielen allesamt mehr oder weniger aus heiterem Himmel und fallen durchaus unter das Adjektiv "unverdient". Die Serie von 8 Siegen und einem Unentschieden in den letzten 9 Spielen liest sich sehr gut, aber wer die Spiele sah, gibt mir Recht, dass man sich gerade gegen tief stehende Gegner sehr schwer tat. KSC ist nun aber noch mal ein anderes Kaliber als Rostock und Koblenz, weil KSC auch durchaus in der Lage ist zu kontern und das Tor zu treffen. Wenn Augsburg hier wieder gewinnt, dann verstehe ich die Welt nicht mehr. Zu erwähnen ist auch noch, dass Abwehrchef Möhrle aufgrund der 5. Gelben Karte gesperrt ist. Ich werde hier wieder KSC anspielen, diesmal im AHC +0,25, damit ich sowohl beim X (relativ wahrscheinlich), als auch beim Heimsieg gewinne. KSC wird also hoffentlich an den guten Auftritt in Bielefeld anknüpfen und mit einem Sieg den Klassenerhalt dann mehr oder weniger besiegeln, da man mit Krebs/Iashvili/Christantus hoffentlich wieder gefährlich kontert und weil die Abwehr es Augsburg verdammt schwer machen wird.

I said a lot of things about Karlsruhe on Monday and I will not repeat everything. But Karlsruhe is much better than it seems. They always played really good but their defeats were very unlucky sometimes. Their defense against Bielefeld on Monday was amazing and Bielefeld was without a really opportunity in the whole game. Furthermore Karlsruhe is a very good counter attack side .. their striker Gaeton Krebs is one of the fastest players of the whole league. But the pre-condition to beat Augsburg is a good defense and Karlsruhe has got a very good defense, no doubt. But now some words about Augsburg: FCA was inapprehensible lucky at last. Their last 3 wins (1:0 against Rostock, 1:0 against Koblenz, 3:0 Paderborn) were really undeserved and they always used their first opportunitie to the first goal. Against Paderborn the 1:0 was an offside goal and before scoring Paderborn had a lot of great opportunities. Augsburg does not play good but the results are good. But I can not imagine that they win again because Karlsruhes defense is too good. Moreover their most important defender and team captain Uwe Möhrle will not be available after his 5th yellow card. Augsburgs best striker Thurk is in a little crisis, too and his last performances were not good. All in all I can not see Karlsruhe losing here. Augsburgs results are much better than their performances and Karlsruhe will struggle. I will have a bet on Karlsruhe AHC +0,25. That means that the half stake is on Karlsruhe DNB and the other half stake is on Karlsruhe double chance. I would have got small earnings if it will be a draw and I would have got full winning if Karlsruhe would win.

Prediction: KARLSRUHER SC AHC +0,25 @1,86 (PinnacleSports) / (MEDIUM)

hehe .. the Paderborn game was crazy, wasn't it? Paderborn with a lot of 100 percent opportunities and then Augsburg with an irregular goal.. I am still having nightmares about that game, too.

Bielefeld will do their job, I am sure.

Yep im on Bielefeld, they have looked decent the couple of times i have watched them and as we have seen quite a bit in this league playing away is not normally a disadvantage...with a change in coach its always a bit risky but its worth a punt in this case i think, they are certainly one of the better teams in the league..gone for the straight win @ 2.6, -1AH @ 4.1 and HT/FT @ 4.33..

Bielefeld with a good start in the first few minuts and Aachen used the first opportunity then. After the 1-0 Bielefeld was shocked obviously .. then the 1-1, a little suprise. But a few minuts after the 1-1 then the 2-1 for Aachen but it was light off-side ..

Ahlen 0-1 Koblenz:
Did not saw much from this game but the pitch is really poor. The 0-1 for Koblenz was a great goal from 30-40 metre distance.
