Continuing from the weekend's thread, Bromsgrove is right, Sevilla have got a lot of players missing at the moment. Zokora and Kanoute are at the African Nations Cup (as are Touré and Keita for Barça), while Fazio, Acosta, Sergio Sánchez, Javi Varas, Luis Fabiano, Adriano and Squillaci are all missing.

Barcelona not expected to make too many changes. Messi didn't play last weekend so is expected to play tonight, while Ibrahimovic will be suspended next weekend so should also play tonight.

With all their injuries, their poor recent form (1 win in last 5), their poor record at the Camp Nou (lost 5 in a row there, and have lost 49 times in 65 visits altogether), it's very hard to see anything other than a Barça win in this one.

Agree rc, Guardiola seems to be taking the game seriously enough from what hes been saying, Sevilla def did not need this game at the moment and with Kone up front they are far less of a threat than with Fabiano or Kanoute..midfield they still look strong, but from a defensive aspect they will def miss Zakora, watched the first half of the game against Athletico at the weekend and they created little despite being 1-0 up at the break (went on to lose 2-1)..Barca are likely to have Busquets in midfield alongside Xavi and Iniesta, with Bojan up front in place of Henry..

Im hopeful for at least a two goal victory, and have bet -1AH 1.68 (ladbrokes) at a decent sized stake and -1EH 2.25 (bluesquare) at a smaller stake but still significant..

Err..yeah, apparently Guardiola might not be taking this as seriously as i thought, he is def making changes and has called up a few players from the 'b' team for the game apparently..i wouldnt put any silly bets on this as some on here may already have done......

Marca and As (which I was basing my earlier post on) seem to think they'll be going with a fairly strong side, but then Marca and As are often wrong (Marca especially). Definitely better to wait until the lineups are confirmed, as at the moment, all the possible/probable lineups that are around online are nothing more than someone's guesswork.

I know im such a fcuking retard esp as i made a big song and dance about waiting for the line-ups for the cup games at the weekend before putting any bets on..got carried away with the team in marca and Guardiolas press conference when the said he was basically putting out his strongest side, then today its 'we need all squad players over the coming games' which translates as 'i dont give a toss about the copa del rey and im putting out a team of shitters' im doomed, doomed i tell ye!

Yeah i know where your talking about, read the same comment and asked the guy where he got the info from and said he got it from 'a website'..no-one apart from Guardiola knows the line-ups at the min..from his comments though im not hopeful, hopefully i will be pleasently surprised..

in running for me, dont know how good the likes of thiago,pinto,maxwell,chigrinski are, bojan i dont rate too highly either, at least the likes of alves,messi,iniesta and pedro are playing, how strongs the sevilla side?
