I live in the UK may take it for granted that Brits can bet with whatever operator/company we like.
I was talking to some colleagues from europe this week and apparently some of them could only bet with a restricted set of companies - even when online. At the end of the day this means poor value odds and less winnings for punters. Here's a worked example from the recent Inter/Juventus match. There's a 3.80 difference in profits from a 10 Euro bet: Charity Betting Challenge: Mourinho Is Indignant, And So Are right2bet! - right2bet daily muse / right2bet / Fighting for an EU citizen's right to choose Can all football fans please sign the petition here? --> Petition / right2bet / Fighting for an EU citizen's right to choose Let's get it sorted! |

Re: Restrictions on football betting in Europe?
There's already a thread on this somewhere mate. not that iv signed it because, a/ it's not my place to tell other countries how to run their affairs and b/ I wouldn't expect a bunch of foreigners to care about what I can do or not do and likewise, I don't really give a toss what they can and can't do.
