Re: Spain: 12/13th Dec
Santander look ok, as theyre better than there league position suggests. They walloped 4 past Espanyol last week at Espanyol, which will give them a huge lift for this basement battle and they will feel this is massive chance to get 6 points inside 7 days. Need to check team news nearer the time.
Xerez are woeful at best and show next to nothing going forward. Theyre forward line is clearly 2nd rate and they fail to create chances nevermind score goals. Theyre clearly cannon fodder in this division and failure to win this game will give Racing real problems in the season ahead. 1.78 may not be everyones cup of tea but it could look very big at the end of this game Grim |

Good luck if you go with them, personally I wouldn't go near them at that kind of price. And with the form I'm in lately, that should pretty much guarantee they'll win ![]() |

Re: Spain: 12/13th Dec
Im as bad as you at the mo RC so one of us should be right. Yeah I forgot to mention who theyd played, the big 3 are in the top 5 in the div, and even Getafe, Osasuna and Bilbao arent bad teams. Valladolid and Espanyol are pretty gash tbh and Xerex will get odd points here and there. TBH im looking at laying Xerez on my alphabet thread , if im still going. The current 5.4 to lay looks ok, though do need to read more nearer kickoff. Im struglling with the X for obvious reasons, and id have to wait until January the 10th until they play again, at home to Valencia.

Like the look of Getafe at home to Tenerife. Admittadly i havent watched either team this season, but going on form it should hopefully be a home win pending on team news

Think Getafe should win this pretty comfortable. Getafe 4/5 (Local) 10/10 |

Re: Spain: 12/13th Dec
Getafe missing top scorer Soldado to suspension, he'll be a big loss to them. Also missing Casquero, Celestini and Cortes. Certainly enough to make me think twice about backing them.

Re: Spain: 12/13th Dec
It seems the key player for Racing against Espanyol was Canales , and hes out against Xerez, as is keeper Tono and luis garcia. Xerez are full strength, but the chairman has recently reseigned , theyve lost 3 in a row and dont know whos going to take over. Theyve scored 4 goals all season and thats their obvious problem.
Havin read all that I could find on the game it appears Racing are too short @ 1.78. Couldnt back Xerez with your money either. Maybe under 2.5 could be the way to go ,as this will be very tight as its hugely important for both team and both lack firepower depsite last weeks 4-0 win for racing. Xerez need the game to keep in touch, racing need the game to get in amongst the 3 teams above them and possibly out of the relegation zone. Very dicey game and not one id particularly like to watch Grim |

Re: Spain: 12/13th Dec
Just spotted some value I think. Cartegena at home ato Salamanca, starts @ 11am:
At first glance it looked a tight game, but on closer inspection I fancy Cartegena. I can get 2.26 at the purple lounge, its 2.10 at betfair ,and 1.90 acroos the boards elsewhere. Salamanca look a tidy away team with figures of 2-3-3 7-8, but on looking at who theyve played away, only 1 team (sociedad) are in the top 8 teams , and they lost that 2-0. The rest are mid - bottom teams, theyve yet to go to any other decent home team. Cartegena are in the promotion spot in 3rd and are solid at home losing just once in 7. They narrowly losy recently to the leaders away, Sociedad 1-0 90th minute, and have indeed lost just 3 of the 15 played. They look sure to be there at the end of the season, wheras Salamanca I fear will not be. Salamanca will concede here I have no doubt and they may well be enough to bag the points at nice odds for a team who appear to be the better outfit and are at home. Cartegena to beat Salamanca @ 2.26 11am kick off cheers Grim |

Re: Spain: 12/13th Dec
Sorry, probably a bit late to mention this for you now, but personally I don't think Cartagena are as good a bet as you think.
They have only lost 3, as you say, but they've been 3 of the last 4 matches. They got off to a flyer after promotion last season, but seem to be getting found out now, and they're without Pascal Cygan, who's a big loss for them in defence. As I type this, it seems Salamanca have scored, apologies, I did start typing it before the goal went in ![]() |
