EARLY THOUGHTS

EAST ALTONA - Slight worry with their away form, but have played some of the better teams away.

CASEY COMETS - Casey showing some improvement and only lost the reverse 1-0.

PORT MELBOURNE - Looks like it depends on which Malvern turns up. Port are also inconsistent, but capable on their day.

BANYULE - Very rare I think odds on is value, but this looks nailed on.

NORTH SUNSHINE - With them last week and happy to go in again. Yarra look a decent outfit but happy with North at the price.

BRANDON PARK - Waverley must do something soon, but BP will be very confident after beating Berwick.

WEST ADELAIDE - As stated last week I just think the top 2 in SA State are much superior to the rest.

GAWLER - 2 Poor sides, but if you take out the last game, there were some signs of improvement from Gawler. Toros also got hammered last week, but Gawler lost to the better team. Toros also conceded 7 to NAB.Cant have Toros as being odds on, so happy to go with Gawler at 3's.

agree about w adelaide mate, them and enfield are pretty clear at the top.
sunbury also are way too good for their division and have built a team to go straight back up.
Bulleen played on monday and came back from 3 down to draw with langwarrin, theyre playing the bottom team SS, whov lost the last 6.
Banyule also:
melb uni v banyule
melb uni lost 0-1 to nth sunshine at princes park on 27th of june
sunshine shouldve won about 6-0 with all there chances
sunshine had 5 players missing including the captain.
uni will go down for sure now
they need to start getting points now


Cairnlea also look vey strong against a westvale team with problems off the pitch

Still have the same fear of a Waverley revival, but not going to take any out. Only addition is CORIO. They got hammered in the reverse, but have tightened things up a bit since then. My final 9 are as follows : -

N Geelong Knox City Cairnlea Maribyrnong Laverton Park Noarlunga Toros is a 24/1 seven-timer
again the odds are terrible, but we'll have a go anyway
Laverton Park at 4-6 are my idea of good value
the last 2 are in a division I was 3 from 3 in last week, although with Toros I know I'm going 'gin the Gawler gang !
My first tip are my only away side so I'm considering taking them out to have a 16/1 six-timer.

5 outta 6 for me, better than last week, small profit, but sunbury put paid to a big payout, glad i kept off the so called bankers, northcote drew (2/7) and south yarra lost (2/9) !!
