Re: League of Ireland: 19/20 June
What sort of analysis Sports Fan? to me thats just a lot of numbers. Will it tell me if galways have been better than their results suggest? will it tell me that shamrock are...bah. you get my drift. If you could have got away with posting a link sports fan you would have and we'd end up on some dour website thats full of banners and ads and have something awful. nothing to do with me and if you aint here to spam then welcome to tDP SF. (come on he's just spouting numbers at us. its not that formulated is it? bloody be 1-1 now wont it?

Re: League of Ireland: 19/20 June
Numbers certainly help SF but really its all about having a knowledge of what you are betting on surely? I would put more on performances and team news than on any stats like you present. All your doing is working out things based on what has went before not of things that are about to happen which is what we want to know. Fair play to you you replied and you posted on the Norwegian thread SF so that confirms to me that you are actually human. tDP welcomes all human non spamming people and'd we'll get a look at your website after 5 posts i belive.
As Neil Young once said 'numbers add up to nothing' imo SF (but maybe in a gambling sense they should never be ignored) |

Re: League of Ireland: 19/20 June
Not really my area, but Im happy to step in and post up some info on the boh v sligo game, from the rte sport website:
'Sligo's chances of inflicting another home defeat have been dented by the absence of several players through injury and suspension. Stephen Parkhouse (ankle/knee), Gavin Peers (thigh) and Shaun Holmes (ankle) are injured, while Jason Noctor and Richard Ryan are suspended. Paul Cook's side have struggled to find the form of last season, but the win over Cork may just be a catalyst for a move up the table.' They had a tough 2-1 ET win over Cork City in the cup midweek while bohs won 8-0 or something ridiculous.Jason McGuinness returns from 5 match suspension after racially abusing a sligo player in the game earlier in the season..he can expect a few heavy tackles then I expect!.. Boh's price has dropped in most places accordingly 1.4 only available at betfred now..-1 handicap is 1.48 apparently on bet365 which is the only place that is doing handicaps on this it appears..im happy with the 1.4 straight on a home win.. |

Re: League of Ireland: 19/20 June
Right im on both straight win and the handicap, big stakes, im even more encouraged by the fact that boh's lost their last game as I cant see any way they will lose two on the trot, particularly as they are at home (against an fatigued, injury and suspension hit side that are struggling in the league) where from what i've seen they are generally very good..they also need to win to maintain their 1 point lead in the league..nope, no other outcome for me..
