EARLY THOUGHTS

PASCOE VALE - Strange home record, but results against the other top teams have been good. Would have thought 6/4 would be fair, so happy with 15/8.

WERRIBEE - Nice confidence boosterlast weekend and look a little too good for Williamstown.

WAVERLEY - Probably should have learnt by now, but as with every year recently, I just think they are a little better thatn their league position suggests.

WHITTLESEA - They were a touch disappointed by the size and manner of their loss to Leaders Sunbury last week. Great chance to get back to winning ways.

CANNING - Would need to confirm that the 2 Athena players sent off last week are indeed suspended. Whilst their defending is shaky, they do definately have goals in them. I would also imagine that the odds do not have any suspensions factored in.

SWAN UTD - AN OK result last week, but do seem to have a decent spine to their team. Should have too much for Stirling.

COVE - Port's loss to Toros was a bit of a shocker. Cove are no great shakes, but have played leaders Enfield twice ( not embarressed either occasion ) Would have Cove as marginal favourites, so pleased to see 15 /8 available ( Skybet )

Yarraville - a team thats got a fine history and 'belong' in a higher league. they couldnt stop cairnlea's good run on saturday but they bossed the game. A fine young side with players comin back im gonna go take that 1.80 at bet365

Nunawading - have been playing well all season even though their results might not reflect this. Croydon showed how poor a side they are on saturday by getting beat by boondarra. Meanwhile nunwading where at league leaders souther suburbs and only a goalie error could split them. the 6/5 at skybet i like.

Strathmore possibly expected to go well. started to pick up of late. check their scores in a bit. 1st v 2nd in sunbury Laverton Pk. I was tipping Sunbury to finish the season well last season. they got relegated. strathmores commitee walked out. Maybe theyve sorted things out behind the scene and are getting themselves together.

Eevryone knows that South Yarra will be a different proposition at home, though. Nice small postage stamp pitch with very uneven surface means their pressure on the ball is more effective.

Is lalor still playing on that sh** pitch with the low goals??? very hard to get a result there so Sunbury did well to pinch the points. THere will be a few draws at that ground this year as per previous years!

this made me laugh-

whittlesea united run a coffee shop in the club rooms. they're paying good money to some of their players, but the money will dry up soon.

Mandurah ive been considering cavelloman. Look quite strong and contiue to suprise. Maybe i got lucky on my Knights win v them at the weeekend (to be confirmed) I think they'll have too much for joondalup possibly and that 5/6 with bet365 makes e want to go bet it the now i must admit (i aint looked till ass updated)

Hume United have a new manager. They supposedly spent big preseason and their players aint performed. Maybe see them perform. I aint gonna back them but something to note
