Re: Strewth! Its The Aussie Thread: 19th June

In the western remier im gonna look at Mandurah at 5/6 more. actually some round 10 thoughts here
BayswaterCity Forum :: View topic - Round 10

A wee bit on Alex Willaims. Must have left Ayr. News to me. Great when you hear about it the other side of the world. Before i look at Div one predictions here all i could fancy myself is Wanneroo and maybe Rockignham at a biig price....
BayswaterCity Forum :: View topic - Round 10

They dont seem to share my views on Wanneroo. Rockingham still might be worth a bet at the price. I will read more

Re: Strewth! Its The Aussie Thread: 19th June

Ive taken a little of this early doors.

1 Yarraville @ 4/5
2 Nunawading @ 11/10
6pts double. i want to grab that yarraville price at bet365 whilst i can. Not loked at form but Yarraville seem to be improving and Nunawading seem to have done ok all season. I was reading about the 2 uni sides in that league and they seem to think Mel Uni are quite pooor. Again as mentioned croydon are dismal and i'd make both my selections about 8/11 from what i can gather.

Re: Strewth! Its The Aussie Thread: 19th June

Aye good luck Cavelloman. im slow this week. be even slower next week when i go to Aberdeen for a Neil young gig and stay overnight. Im still waiting to get the keys to aussie soccer stats here and can't update. That and y sleeping tablet addiction aint helping me.

My original Rockingham thoughts could be true. Looks like they have brought a few new players in this week. Talk of 2 south africans (don't laugh) also some experienced....

Quote:
I believe that Rockingham have coaxed ex-Mandurah sweeper/midfielder/celebrity Damien Condo to come out of retirement.

Get him fit, sober and focussed and he'd be the best sweeper in that league. Rocky have also apparently approached a few other ex-Mandurah lads who have not been playing at the moment
BayswaterCity Forum :: View topic - Any signings with transfer deadline looming

I havent looked at results or aything but Rockingha coulld be due a win. Im taking rockingham at 10/3 in an interest bet (to be fully confirmed) lets see what their saying on the prediction thread about the game

Gosnells City 3-1Rockingham City : Rocky edging this one. (think he made an error)
Gosnells 2-2 Rocky Rocky got some good players but just lack that final ball
Gosnells 1-3 Rocky (Forecasting about 8 changes to Rocky side which should seal win)
Gosnells City - Rockingham City - X. I have no idea who will win this one really
Gosnells City 2- 2 Rockingham City - Rock's revival to start ?

and various non commented things before the talk of the rocky revival. not something to get over excited by. A few 'Diannela at home' mentions cavelloman. This iswhats putting me off Bayswater. I think Dianella are a croatian team and have a noisy disruptive support. traditionally hard to beat at home. Well there' s that and me getting my fingers burnt on Bayswater last week. good uck in it. I willl have missed the boat

Re: Strewth! Its The Aussie Thread: 19th June

Actually this has to be a worry for any potential rockingham backers. the Rockingham manager/chairman keeps deleteing threads on Rockingham
BayswaterCity Forum :: View topic - why is the rocky subject keep getting removed

Some may say that i am putting too much importance on forums and not enough on stats but it could be a worr actually i think it was trouble at the game last week. ill read more. this made me laugh

Quote:
Apparently drama at the Qp gosnells game also
One of the QP players sent off and came out the change rooms with a knife
It was one of the new african players brilliant. The Rockingham thing was just one of their supporters gettting tazered. some victoria 6 thoughts-
Quote:

FC Strathmore v Essendon Utd
Interesting clash here between the clever, skillful forwards / mids of Strathmore and the nippy mids and functional forwards of Essendon. If Strathmore get room in the middle and feed their strikers this game will be over in the first 30 minutes. I cannot see Ess defenders being able to cope. Essendon simply need to score more than the opposition, however I think 3-2 to Strathmore.
Northern Falcons v Lalor Utd
Lalor's defence is the only real shining light of their season so far. Losing 7 out of 10 but only copping 11 goals is an amazing effort and goes to show that if they start scoring they'll finish mid-table easily. The winger at NF may find some room and get crosses in and so that'll be the key. This game suggests a 1-1 draw.
Sunbury Utd v Laverton Park
Laverton have the firepower it seems to match Sunbury on paper but having seen both sides I think the run that Sunbury have in 14 players will see them finally score some goals in the second half. 3-1 to Sunbury
Western Eagles v Whittlesea Utd
A resurgent Weagles team will go into this match with confidence but I can safely say that if Whittlesea get their A-game onto the park then it'll be all over red rover. As in most games if Whittlesea concentrate on football they generally win. 2-0 to Whittlesea
Melbourne City v Elwood City
At the graveyard ground of City many team's promotion hopes are dashed and this could be one of the early nails in the Elwood coffin. Bring your bulbs, seeds and plants as this ground ain't fit for nothing but farming. FFV should transfer all games from this ground pronto. It'll be a straightforward 2-0 to the City boys.
South Yarra v Corio
An intriguing matchup with history suggesting this could go either way. Word out of Yarra is that this year football is actually being played but that goal scoring has been a problem. EUFC think they got away lightly last week but many a season has faltered because of a lack of goal scoring options. Corio have plenty of goal scoring options in Joldzic and Luczo with Osmanovic and Yilmaz offering good backup. So I think this game will pivot on who brings their scoring boots....guessing 1-2 to Corio in an upset.

Re: Strewth! Its The Aussie Thread: 19th June

bah you just know Nunwading are gonna draw. they aint exactly scoring the goals are they? wish id noticed their bad goal scring of late before i bet. I cant advise folks to back them and sorry if like me you have. I still think they are a better team in better frm but the lack of goals has really made me reconsider. the price is about right

Lets have a look here too-
Bettingzone Football Betting News - Premier League, Champions League, Previews, Odds & Data

I would usually b into peninsula strikers but i know boondarra ex Templestowe home ground is a shambles and they are supposedly hard to beat. their 4 straight losses at home wouldnt suggest that mind. 4/5 bet365 4/6 elsewhere. bah why am i just making things up now. ive no idea do i?

Waverly i want to back SAMOAN. they are due a win and their players are due back. like nunawaing though hey aint scoring enough for me. maybe not winning enough either.

Quote:
How will the manager fit in these two BIG signings into a team that's welcoming back 44 players from injury, suspension, travel, bukkake sessions and so on?
2 strikers signed mind. waverly fans/players getting a ribbing. i want to back them but i cant.

Southen Suburbs have been spashing the cash. Anyone remember this game last season? s Springvale looked the best bet on the coupon, i told everyone about it, southern suburbs won 5-0

Re: Strewth! Its The Aussie Thread: 19th June

fcuking basatrds. I was just off then to put on a big single at bet365 on Yarraville to cover my double with Nunawading and theyve gone 8/11 on them. Sick. If anyone see Yarraville near 4/5 then tell us. most of my likeness for them was due to their heritage as a team the RFO fancying them last week even though i mentioned i prefered Cairnlea to win. Looks like they was a little unlucky

Quote:
well done to cairnlea for their 1-0 win over yarraville, just want to say well done to the young boys for yarraville for taking the game up to cairnlea and who ever was at the game has to aggree that yarraville was the better side for the majority of the game and with the return of three more senior boys this week they will only get better. Again congratulations to cairnlea for going 8 games without a loss and a big thank u for their hospitality and great food
that and the players coming back and then noticing their home record at bettingzone made that 4/5 look very nice

Re: Strewth! Its The Aussie Thread: 19th June

i may of been the reason that the price changed at bet 365 i had a double on yarraville and whitlesea utd and noticed five minutes later they had both come in to 8/11 it doesnt take much and this is the place to be for aussie info so apologies for having itchy
fingers

Re: Strewth! Its The Aussie Thread: 19th June

Aye it was a cracking price royalbelle. I was just off round the shop then to get some milk and as i mulled my head over only yarraville was the team i felt confident enough in backing. I thought 'i have to get back and back them'. Im hoping that Nunawading manage to pick up a 1-0 win and we'll all be happy. good luck with the pair of them royalbelle and welcome to tDP.

Re: Strewth! Its The Aussie Thread: 19th June

Just adding 2 to my original list - NORTH SUNSHINE ( Mainly a price thing, but also not convinced by Moreland ) Secondly LA TROBE ( Possible problems down at Westvale ) and I would have it 6/4 the pair. 17 /10 @ bet365 maybe just a touch of value.

My final 9 are as follows : -

BANKERS

WHITTLESEA
SWAN UTD

OTHERS

PASCOE VALE
WERRIBEE
NORTH SUNSHINE
LA TROBE
WAVERLEY
CANNING
COVE
