Teams With Artificial Pitches
I cannot find the original thread that we had on this. Vercingetorixxx has just mentioned Odd Grenland in the Norwegian thread. Maybe we could make a list to remind ourselves.

in this day and age do you think Artificial pitches are as much an advantage as they where? I'd still be interested in hearin of any other teams as i cant find much on the interwebnet.

I'm pretty sure Malmo from Sweden has one. I'll search for more.
I believe it's an advantage after you get used to it, because the ball movement is much faster then on grass. At least, that's how i feel, after playing some on both surfaces.

Dundalk in Ireland. I think. Just asked IrishTW and he's confirmed it.
Isn't there a considerably higher bounce on artificial surfaces too?

It's true the ball is bouncing differently the on grass. And also, the players are more prone to injuries on artificial turf.

i will also add:
red bull salzburg, young boys bern, hjk helsinki, heracles almelo and maybe elfsborg (dunno for sure). A fact is that many football clubs from Finland got green-line to build artificial turfs until the end of 2009.

Malmö in sweden has a new stadium but they play on natural grass......Örebro, Elfsborg in top division plays on artifical and Sundsvall in superettan also play on artificial...
