BRAZIL CUP GAME (TONIGHT)

There's a Brazilian Cup Game tonight (1.00am UK time), between Corinthians and Sao Caetano, Corinthians are home and strong favourites at around 1.50 ish...

Now prima facie you would think that Corinthians wold win this, and that was my initial thought - but when I delved into the stats they pulled up an interesting head-to-head history.

GAMES PLAYED = 20
CORINTHIANS WINS = 5
DRAWS = 3
SAO CAETANO = 12 WINS

The current game odds are:

Corinthians v Sao Caetano
1.57 - 3.50 - 5.50

Now, stats never , ever drive my bet, they are just an aspect.

However, I think it's woth chancing Sao Caetano tonight, with a double chance saver - besides, Corinthians odds are too low anyway...

BET
SAO CAETANO @ 5.50 = 3 POINTS
DOUBLE CHANCE (DRAW OR AWAY) @ 2.29 = 2 POINTS

Re: BRAZIL CUP GAME (TONIGHT)

huge advantage to the homes in brazil, highest percentage in the world isnt it?

itd also be worth while checking which leagues/cups the sides are playing in right now, briazillian teams can play 3 games a week for ages at a time. this might also be a group game, not really a straight forward cup game, theres a few other reasons why corinthians would be more interested in winning this.

Re: BRAZIL CUP GAME (TONIGHT)

This game is the Copa do Brasil, over 2 legs, this is the first leg.

And although Corinthians are wortyy favourites, especially playing at Morumbi, partly, they are such a short price on the back of their latest 4-0 drubbing (in this cup) against Goais.

The thing however, about Brazilian soccer is that they are often over in short spells, like Corinthians last game, they had a 25 minute period when scoring all 4 goals, effectively ending the tie.

Can they do this again tonight? - I am not sure , and wouldn't take that price about them with someone elses money...

I think a draw is a distinct possibility - and for the record the Brazilian league hasn't started yet - kick-off is 10th May.

By the way, both protagonists are in Serie B...

Re: BRAZIL CUP GAME (TONIGHT)

Without it be able to send the second I play against the Corinthians in the Morumbi, the Saint Caetano defined in this Tuesday that to decisive party will be in the Holy stadium Cross, in Black Stream, in the Interior of São Paulo. The duel, back and valid by the of of of the Cup of Brazil, will be in the day 13 (Tuesday), to the 20h30.

The management of the Azulão tried to send the game in the Morumbi, but to CBF (Brazilian Confederation of Soccer) denied the entreaty alleging that São Paulo is the city of the first instigator, in case of, the Corinthians. Like this, would have inversion of command.

With the Anacleto Campanella it be enough to liberation, the Saint Caetano decided to cause to party for the Holy stadium Cross, with capacity for 50 thousand supporters and that supplies tranquility and comfort to the public. This will be the second I play of the Azulão in Stream. In the day 16 of April, the team defeated the Athletic-GO for 2 to 1, with goals of Luan and Rafinha.

Re: BRAZIL CUP GAME (TONIGHT)

Dont waste your time Cat, there are no other reasons, you just waffled that...

I read the Brazilian papers and news everyday, speak Brazilian Portuguese fluently, if there were other reasons I would have spotted them mate...

If Corinthians win its because they were better on the night, and they are strong favourites so should win according to the book....

Re: BRAZIL CUP GAME (TONIGHT)

im highly skeptical about the whole thing. caetano may well be dominant over them in the state championships but for me that counts for nothing in the game tonight.

whats the team news?
