Re: 1-5 May: Switzerland

Ive just been through all these games an and in typical Swiss style nothing stands out. Its all so dull. No streaks or nothing. Anyone follow these leagues and maybe have a bit of info that could enduce a bet?

thanks

Re: 1-5 May: Switzerland

I love both Swiss leagues... they've been pretty profitable for me last two years, there are several early picks I can see... I'll try to get back and write more when I am back on Friday...

Good to see this thread here.

It always is Scorpio (well when im about) Ive never had any response on it. I thought no one bothered with it thats why i was a bit derogatory about it. I looked at all the games and nothing stood out to me at all.

Re: 1-5 May: Switzerland

Looks like a must win game for Vaduz today. Well they'll be wanting to cement their position at the top of the league. Formwise i was all for them but im just noticing Yverdon have a very good record away at Vaduz. Is the odds too low? Havce these teams changed much in the past few seasons? Not something just to throw my money on without consideration

Re: 1-5 May: Switzerland

No new Swiss thread, so I will put my thought here...

Thun is already relegated, Sion has still theoretical chance to reach the 5th place (Intertoto, in case Basel loses 1st place, so UEFA tickets will be offered for 2.-4. places instead just 2.-3. if Basel wins the title and CL qual. groups)... Still many missings in Thun (as already mentioned in one of the previous posts), if you want to check it out, it's here:

Swiss Football League - Ranglisten / Resultate

Sion playing at home with higher motivation, I dont expect them to let down their fans..

It's a clear win, so the AH -1 at 1.9 is a good option here I think...

FC Zurich with the same huge missings just like in the previous round when they heavily lost 4-0 to Basel.. St.Gallen is still facing reglation play-off threats, but they still can push off the bottom ant get behind Xamax, their motivation is very very high.

Zurich has no strikers, depleted squad on and they will have to work hard to keep their 3th place to get UEFA ticket...

I just can't see FC Zurich winning today with their morale and no attack...

AH for St Gallen +0.75 offered at 2.025 is a perfect choice for me.

Xamax have three new important missings today, Johnny Szlykowicz and Everson Pereira in the midfield and Nebojsa Jaksimovic in defense. Raphael Nuzzolo is back in midfield, also Jenny Pascal in defense.

Basel with the same squad just like against Zurich on monday. Xamax fighting to avoid relegation battles, Basel going to ensure their 1st place... I expect a tough match, but I quite fancy Basel to take 3 points here

Good stuff, Scorpio.

Remember folks, anyone can start a thread if there isn't one up and you want to add something. Just click the 'new thread' button and fire away. Easy peasy.

I was into the Swiss footy for a bit Komp but I gave up too. I even joined the Thun forum and made some pals.

You know what... They were complete toothless... Eudis was supposed to be injured and he was their only striker... but he was sent into the field after 80th minute and that bastard scored... grrrrr

That's something that happens quote often I find. Usually we're cursing the BBC. Great work though mate and hopefully a little more luck next time. I actually loved following Swiss football for a while so will try and get involved. Diomed was posting quite a bit too if I recall.
