Re: 25-27 Apr: Rep Ireland
Bohs V Derry @6/5: Should be a tight game but I reckon Bohs can just edge it. Derry have quite a few missing this evening including the excellent McCourt. No Hargan, Deery, Quigley or Morrow either. Bohs are coming off the back of an excellent away win in Drogheda while Derry had a poor result against Bray last week.
Cobh V UCD Under 1.5 goals @6/4 Can't see there being a whole lot of goalmouth action this evening in Cobh. Both teams are defensively minded and UCd haven't conceded too many on their travels this season.
Athlone Town V Dundalk @4/5: Dundalk love playing Athlone. I can't remember the last time they haven't won against them. Ok, just checked soccerway, Dundalk have won the last 7 meetings between the sides! Scoring 23 goals and conceding just 3.. Athlone are a poor outfit who have won just 1 game all season. Dundalk are unbeaten and a repeat of last weeks away performance against Limerick should be more than enough here.
Verdict:
Bohs @6/5
Under 1.5 goals in Cobh match @6/4
Dundalk @4/5

Re: 25-27 Apr: Rep Ireland
Cobh -0.25 @ 2.11 (2u)
decent side at home, good confidence at the moment, and playing some decent attacking football.
their manager says it's their home games that will decide their league fate this season and he is not wrong, even vs sligo away, 2-1 result was more deserved, not 3-1 and against shamrock, they were never ever bullied by the bigger team aspect and played their home game vs long ball shamrock and reaped the win.
proving to be the more stable side of the 2 promoted teams and in o'reilly, they have a player who has goals in him.
Bray dnb @ 2.50 (2u)
NO WAY are these odds fair, opened up around 2.08, but i'd say team news is poorer for galway in both defence and midfield, whereas bray are not without their's. bray's recent form has been good, playing some good football and standing up for themselves in big games too.
only reason i can justify is the new manager affect for galway, but does that mean the team will be playing like brazil for jeff kenna who has no managerial experience at all...i dunno, but what i do know is, it does not deserve a 42pt rise based on team news and form.
bray +0.25 @ 199 is available if you look around and i bet you brays + hcp can only drop.
Drogheda +0.25 @ 2.06 (2u)
poor form? maybe, but still a decent side. can a poor start and an unlucky last minute penalty loss against bohs justify drogs being in the over evens side of a + hcp...i don't.
cork have been good, but lets not forget that fortunately for them, opponents have been abysmal.
Sligo dnb @ 2.06 (2u)
harps' problems already outlined last week and the manager also has a 4 game touchline ban where he cannot be in the duggout before, during and after the game as well as the dressing room at ht.
whereas sligo have a decent side imo, held onto most their best players from last season and rewarded with a nice run of results so far this season. harps vs another unstable team today i would've kept away, but vs a confident and decent playing sligo right now, the dnb is not too bad.

Re: 25-27 Apr: Rep Ireland
Good weekend in the Eircom League with an easy Dundalk win and a 0-0 draw in Cobh. In retrospect it probably wasn't the wisest move backing against Derry but I just thought with the injuries they had they were worth taking on.
Great picking Wuntun. And all at tasty prices too.

Was just thinking there, the best type of "fuck off " is the following; You`re playing astro, 5 a side, someone shouts "handball" and the "fuck off" response is fucking class.
