Re: Eastern European Football 12th - 15th May
little preview for the last round of the czech gambrinus league:
few interesting games in last round mainly in Liberec where the local champion will meet second Mlada Boleslav that is fighting with Slavia and Teplice for CHL. i think Boleslav will do everything to win there and Liberec plays only for their fans. Slavia is going to Jihlava both teams deffinitely need to win - Jihlava have last chance to stay in the first league if they win, but their opponent is playing great these days. Plzen travels to Prague fight with Sparta the battle for the first league - if would Jihlava won Plzen relegate, but if they win and Jihlava don´t (and the probabilitie that Jihlava screw it is big) they will stay in the league, but they must first beat Sparta, they didn´t get a point form there for many years, but the situation is different - Sparta have nothing to play for (they said that they are only concentrate on the national cup) and moreover they have with plzens coach Straka above standart relations, so i think away win with a little help from Sparta players is not impossible
more will follow

Re: Eastern European Football 12th - 15th May
Hello friends! I'm gonna give you some info on a Hungarian Borsodi Liga match, Zalaegerszeg - Diósgyőr, wich will be played on Saturday 19.00.
| 13. ZTE FC | 26 | 7 | 6 | 13 | 37-47 | -10 | 27
|
| 8. Diósgyőri VTK | 26 | 9 | 6 | 11 | 27-35 | -8 | 33
|
ZTE is on poor form, their last win was against Tatabánya on 4 March, and they lost recently against MTK 6-3, and in the last round against Újpest 5-1. This cost the manager his job, now his assistant is in the charge of the club. Diósgyőr did well lately, except the loss against poor Pápa (0-1) in the last round, but I have some inside info, that the match was fixed, Pápa needed the 3 points to fight against relegation, and because of the good price, the Diósgyőr players bet on Pápa...No comment.. Diósgyőr will be well rested, the team will travel today afternoon to Zalaegerszeg (it is about 500 kms far). 3 non-regular players are injured, and Vitelki who is a first team player is suspended due to his 3 yellow cards.
The match can go either way but the price is high on DVTK, it would worth a medium bet. If you wanna go for sure, take the x2, because the draw would satisfy both teams IMO. Expect a law scoring game, decided by 1 goal.
Odds by Betandwin:
ZTE FC: 1.90
Draw: 3.20
DVTK: 3.40
ZTE or draw: 1.19
Draw or DVTK: 1.65
ZTE or DVTK: 1.22
My bet: 4 points on Away
Good luck!

Re: Eastern European Football 12th - 15th May
Hello Mord,
Yes, last round will be very interesting. The better will be not bet or try to bet some suprise for small stake, only for fun. Interesting opinion about Sparta vs Plzen. We can´t forget that motivation is only on Plzen side. Mainly coach Straka who was kicked out from Sparta without any reasons. Sparta has the last chance how to play uefa cup if they win czech cup. So perhaps they will be rest some players, I don´t know.
Let go to see our czech hockey team.
Good luck

Re: Eastern European Football 12th - 15th May
Sportul Studentesc tends to be my favourite team in the Romanian league as I was on them last 3 rounds and the lads did their job all 3 times including a great away win at Dianamo. They are co-leaders in the division with Rapid, look in great shape and they are facing on Saturday bottom of the league Bacau.
Bacau has 9 straight losses and a glance on the league table shows that thery are pretty much relegated already. Need some insight from our Romanian friends here but I guess that the awaywin @ 1.5 could be an option.

Re: Eastern European Football 12th - 15th May
Not really an expert on the Romanian league nasos.
I am following it for several years however as 2 of my best mates have been studing in Bucurest and they could provide some info.
I have been keeping stakes low but with the help of archaeus and others lately, confidence increased, as did my stakes. )

Re: Eastern European Football 12th - 15th May
Slovan Liberec - Mladá Boleslav
Odds on MB are going down so don´t wait - for Liberec will be better if would end on second place Boleslav, so it means they must lose, because then they will be in better pot in CHL draw. Boleslav is strong team and Liberec have no motivation so i would bet on them even if i don't know this new situation.
My punt: Away win - now is 2,04 Betfair, but locals are going down - many of them have @1,85 now

Re: Eastern European Football 12th - 15th May
First thoughts on the Russian league...
Tom Tomsk vs Luch Energia Vladivostok
Vladivostok are newcomers on the first division and look OK so far having a distinct advantage in their home games as the opposition has to travel huge distances and quite a few time zones in order to get to Vladivostok. This advantage however becomes a disadvantage on the away games as it is the trip the other way round. Thus, after the point gained against Spartak Moscow on the opening round, they later had 4 straight away wins.
I believe that this trend will continue at Tomsk but I don't have any team news right now. The problem is that odds on the home win are going down. 1.9 is no longer available and 1.8 is not gonna last long either. I am having some of the 1.8 and will be doing some reading on team news. (My russian is good enough but even Systran can do it, check out some newspaper (e.g. sport express on line) or the clubs sites for further information. As an alternative, I will be providing some info later on but I can not guarrantee that odds will be the same.

Mistake made before. Thus, after the point gained against Spartak Moscow on the opening round, they later had 4 straight away DEFEATS.
Sorry about that but it's midnight and it's been a smokey day.

Re: Eastern European Football 12th - 15th May
And another one for Russian League 1.
Saturn vs Krilia Sovetov Samara
Saturn has been on my shortlist since the beginning as they pulled together a good team spending quite a lot of money. They have not started great but not bad either having lost only once in their first 8 games. If I understand correctly they have been keeping it rather tight and that explains their 5 draws. 7 of their 8 games had less than 3 goals, the exception being a 3-0 win over Shinnik.
Their opposition, Krilia have a good start as well. All their away games were tight as well, 3 of them being decided by a single goal and the other one being a 1-1 draw against Torpedo.
Unders @ 1.6 is not great value but unless instructed otherwise from our russian friends, I consider it an option.
So overall so far
Tom Tomsk vs Luch Energia Vladivostok - Homewin @ 1.8
Saturn vs Krilia Sovetov Samara - under 2.5 @ 1.6
I will be doing some reading and will be back.

Re: Eastern European Football 12th - 15th May
ooooops how did i miss you hlarson? Ive never seen a Hungarian pick posted anywhere so thanks for that and good luck. Welcome to TDP Henrik
Dukla Banska Bystrica look ok to me in the slovenian leagues. Unbeaten in at least their last 10 to the other team. They're about 5/2 too anyone any info on that? I know the draws the worry but surely the price is too big. Dukla Banska Bystrica are in form and the other team arent by the stats.
I was expecting Ruzomberok to be a bigger price too.
thanks Galilee and Mord too. Good luck chaps.
