I'll be taking odds of 2.1 on Inter to beat Lazio at the weekend. Lazio are in nomansland and they could he hoping Inter will show a bit of "compassion" for them in the Coppa Italia 2 1/2 weeks later. Just my own theory. anyone else?

This is theory of lazio's supporters because them are rivals of Rome and Rome is four points less Inter, all radio in rome talk
of this favour.
It will be so? Of course it' s no good idea but I think that this is probably also i take Inter Bf @2.14 6/10

Serie B: Week 33 preview

Leaders Bologna will be hoping rivals Albinoleffe and Chievo cancel each other out in their eagerly awaited confrontation

Bologna’s journeyman striker Massimo Marazzina has given the Rossoblu a massive lift ahead of their trip to Ascoli by announcing his desire to stay at the club. The man fans call ‘Gladiator’ received chants of ‘Massimo, Massimo, Massimo,’ imploring him to remain at the Renato Dall’Ara, after his 18th goal of the season took Bologna top again.

The Felsinei failed to break-down Ascoli’s defence last December in a 0-0 bore draw, influencing Coach Daniele Arrigoni’s decision to start with playmaker Adailton in a 4-3-1-2 formation.

The miracle of Albinoleffe is to be tested as Cadetti top scorers Chievo roll into town. The Veronesi are currently on the longest unbeaten run of any Serie B team, stringing together 14 consecutive useful results. Luckily for Albinoleffe Coach Elio Gustinetti, the Azzurri are set to welcome back defensive stalwart and former Chievo man Kewullay Conteh while their guests could be without attackers Victor Obinna and ‘Lucky’ Luciano.

Lecce dropped points at home to Grosseto late last year and, despite their current spell of seven matches without defeat the Giallorossi will be wary, especially given the absence of hitman Elvis Abbruscato. Pisa can leapfrog Lecce into fourth spot if they continue their phenomenal away record at Modena. The two sides enthralled spectators with a six goal thriller in the winter which ended 3-3. But the Emilian’s devilish strike partnership of Stefano Chuka Okaka and Salvatore Bruno will not feature, making the Tuscans’ job somewhat easier.

Spezia need £400,000 to survive financially and four points to move out of the drop zone, but they’re unlikely to find sympathy from Brescia, who cannot afford to lose to the Ligurians if they are to remain in the play-off zone. Serse Cosmi’s side went down 1-0 to the Aquilotti earlier this season and haven’t won in three games.

Triestina are the championship’s form side having taken maximum points from their last four fixtures. Alabardati Coach Rolando Maran signed a new contract of the back of the current spell but Triestina’s excursion to Bari is meaningless given the Alabardati are safe by 15 points and 17 points adrift of the playoffs.

Messina have endured a season of ups and downs. Over the next 10 matches the Sicilians will face the top and bottom four clubs, starting at Vicenza on Saturday afternoon. Speaking of relegation, Ravenna take on Avellino in a direct battle to stave off the threat of Serie C and the Campanians are slight favourites thanks to their run of three matches unbeaten.

Italy Serie C1-B

Soccer - Pescara/Crotone - total Over 2 (-106)
for the regulation time held on Mar 31 at 1:45pm [pending]

Beginning to like this league. Seems like scoring is higher than in Serie B, but the lines are better. Pescara (24-14 goals in 13 home games) travels to Crotone (13-19 in 14 away games), a team that they played regularly when both were in Serie B...Four straight have reached 2 goals h2h, with scores of 1-1 in C-1B, and 2-3, 2-2, 1-2 in Serie B. Current form, Pescara have had just three of their last ten go under 2, Crotone is a perfect ten for ten of 2+.
