Don't worry traeth. Dundalk wil pull this out of the bag yet. Time to bring on Tiernan Mulvenna. He's our teenage superstar and hes gonna save us! BELIEVE.

Re: 28-29: Rep Ireland

Ah Jesus, what a stinker. Sorry about that men. Can't believe Wexford scored against us. I think i'm jinxed when it comes to those (-1) HT-FT bets. Whenever I go HT-FT the (-1) comes in and whenever I go (-1) the HT-FT comes in. Bah.

Hopefully Pats can help me out tomorrow night.

Re: 28-29: Rep Ireland

My tips for tonight's games are:
Waterford
@ 1.90 for HW must be produce of Sporting Fingal's good start, but Waterford as ex-Premier League team could have too much for newcomer.
They're waiting for first victory and I think it's right time to get it.
SF already played vs. one ex Premier League side, Longford in first round , and lost heavily 5-1.

Shelbourne
According to line ups, predictions for this season, etc...Shelbourne is clear favorite to do the job here.
Who I am to oppose?

St.Patricks
They started well, same as last year.
Bray at the bottom with no goals scored in three games.

Bohemians
I simply think that it will be too much for Finn Harps to take anything from first Dublin visit.

and Longford
only because I trust them more, and think that they must have more quality and experience then Limerick.

Re: 28-29: Rep Ireland

Bohs(@60) V Finn Harps @5/6: Bohs strike force of Byrne and Crowe should have enough to see off Premier League new boys Finn Harps. Finn Harps have made a bright start to the season and have won 2 of their opening 3 games but their position in the table is a bit misleading. Those 2 matches were both home games against teams who are very likely to be involved in a relegation battle come the end of the season.

UCD V Sligo(DNB) @10/11: Sligos league position is also a bit misleading. They have picked up just 1 point from 3 games but those 3 games were against Pats Bohs and Drogs who are 3 of the best teams in the league. UCD will miss their main talisman Paul Byrne tonight as he is suspended and I fancy Sligo could nick all 3 points this evening. They beat UCD 2-0 here last season.

Shelbourne V Athlone @4/7: Straight win here. Not confident enough to go HT-FT or (-1) as Shels haven't really found their scoring boots as yet. However that may change tonight as they are up against a very poor Athlone side. Athlone haven't even managed to score this season yet nevermind win. I reckon it'llbe a 1 or 2-0 home win here.

Tonights bets:
Sligo(DNB) @11/10
Bohs @60 mins @5/6
St Pats @5/6
Shels @4/7

Re: 28-29: Rep Ireland

Yep agree with Cinny, I just think Cork will have a bit too much craft and guile for Cobh who were ruthlessly exposed by the Drogs last week. Cork haven't won yet this season but they haven't lost either. 4 draws and 3 of those against top opposition. Full squad to choose from and I'd be fairly confident of them picking up all 3 points tonight.

Verdict:
Cork @8/11

Galway V Shamrock Rovers: Was tempted to go Galway (DNB) here @5/4 but they've got a few injury worries in defence so i'm probably best off statying away particularly as Rovers have started the season well. No bet.

Another poor result for Cork. Thats 5 draws in a row now. Unbeaten but they're hopes of winning the title look fooked already. Matthews under a bit of pressure already.
