Jiul Petrosani v Dynamo Bucuresti

Following the last result at home, 4-5 defeat vs Sportul, Dinamo has even smaller chances to win the title this year. They even might miss an UEFA Cup spot for next year if they do not win at Petrosani today. Dinamo has to play today without a left defender, because all of thew team's left defenders are injured or suspended. Attacking midfielder Zicu is also suspended. Jiul sits on the 13th spot, 6 points clear of the last place that goes into 2nd division, but they will play vs Steaua and Rapid also. They have some injured players for this game, the most important beeing Badoiu, Soltuz and Voicu. Dumitru is out of the squad for indiscipline. Dinamo still hopes that Steaua and Rapid will slump in the next fixtures and they still have a chance to win the title. IMO they can't afford to lose the today because that would mean no european football next season. Even with the squad problems, they have a better squad and i think they will win today.

FC Vaslui v Pandurii TG Jiu

This is a 6 points game between 2 of the relegation candidates. Vaslui havent lost in the last 4 games, 2 wins and 2 draws, they shouldve won the last game away to Otelul, they led untill the 90th minute when Otelul equalised from a free kick. They played bettter and better every round and they have a good chance to avoid the drop. On the other hand Pandurii have only 2 points from the last 6 games, they changed the coach 2 rounds ago but their display isnt much better. They were close to a huge surprise last round away to Steaua when they held to a draw untill the 80th minute when they scored an own goal but they defended with 11 players all the time. This game will be decisive for both teams and although one might think it will be a close game i expect some goals to be scored.

Gloria Bistrita v Steaua Bucharest

This is another must win for Steaua. They sit on the 1st place in the table with the same amount of points as Rapid, but with one game less played. After the disaster at Boro, Steaua played 2 games in the championship and it wasnt the best display i wouldve expected: 0-2 vs Rapid, 1-0 vs poor Pandurii. Now they travel to Bistrita where it is never easy to get points. Steaua tried to reschedule this game for Sunday but Bistrita didnt want this because they hope they can get at least one point. Steaua has the full squad available for this game after quite a long period of time, Bistrita also with full squad. The value deffinatley is with Steaua and they must win to remain in the 1st place. However i will cover the 1-1 CS. I expect a tight game so under 2 goals looks a good bet to me.

National Bucharest v Poli Timisoara

National return in Bucharest after a disastrous 4-0 defeat away to Farul, a game that was one way only. Can't really understand what happened because i saw a huge difference between NAtional that beat Farul 4-1 3 days earlier and National that lost 4-0. And they played with the same players .
Anyway, National is a typical home side, they play quite good at home and very good against big teams. This should be another good game vs a "big team" of Timisoara, big only because of the money spent on transfers because the results are crap. Timisoara has some important missings for todays game, Stanici, Gluscevici, Mansour, Plesan, Ov. Petre. They only got one point at home last game 0-0 with Arges. They come to win today at National but i do not think they stand many chances because their game is not what you'd expect from them. IMO the bookies have made a mistake with the AH line for this game because it shouldve been set to -0.5 and they set it to -0.25 so i'll take it gladly. I epect a National win so the -0.25 gives me half stake back in case of a draw.

Arges Pitesti v Otelul Galati

I think that this game will be the start of a new era for Arges. The team was bought by a very wealthy business-man from Pitesti, and the result was seen last round at Timisoara: 0-0 with a better team. The new owners also changed the coach so again the "new manager" syndrome could be a factor why i go with Arges. They will play with a very offensive 4-3-3 formation so i expect a spectacular game and some goals to be scored. Otelul is one of the best teams away from home, most of their points came form away wins. Still i think Arges will get a win here after quite a long period of time. Bet365 are offering some strange odds: 2.10 for straight win and 2.15 for -0.25 . I will take the AH with both hands because i am confident Arges can get the win. Both teams are with full squads so Arges all the way for me.

I have to repeat myself: Sportul is the revelation of this year's championship and they play the best football you can imagine from a team whos oldest player is 25 years old. After Steaua lost yesterday at Bistrita the championship is now so so interesting: 4 teams have good chances to win the title and Sportul is one of them. If they win today they climb to 1st place, with Rapid having to play later on the day. Poli Iasi is the average home side one can imagine, without much efforts away from home.

After Steaua lost at Bistrita yesterday the chances for Rapid to win the title are higher than never because they can climb to 1st place and they will have an easier end of championship but first they need to win today vs Farul. Rapid plays very good at home, they have a good support from their fans and a win today will see them climb the ladder. Farul is a different team away from home. They lose the faith and play very bad, and concede alot of goals. I have a feeling Rapid will win this confortably, after a nice game with couple goals scored.

Ekranas dont played with strong teams in first 4th rounds. M.Savenas (main Ekranas striker 5 goals this season (all team 7 goals), made 5 penalties , G.Paulauskas, A.Klimavicius, P.Luksys, V.Kavaliauskas played for NT in midweek (surprising Lithuania win vc Poland 1:0) will be a little bit tired. Savenas don't impresed me. Fat,slow striker. So far from last year form.

We controled the game but got early goal. Brasilian boys looked powerfully and started more offenc game. Second come from the contra. Started to press and at last ball find the net. Stupid misstake and third from contra. Presed all the time and got our second. Was so close to third our goal.
Ekranas made just 2 goals in this season from the game, all other 5 come from penalty. With tired offensive and midf line Ekranas can score, no more than 1 I think. We are able to score 1 or 2. Controled first half of the game. I'm agree with ref that our keeper made foul and penalty was deserved. But there was so many strange decisions... There was one of the best Poland ref in stadium and later in video he showed refs missakes. Ekranas have 8 goals and 6 of them from penalty. Dunno how much time they will play in this way.
Made our first from contra. Ekranas best striker Savenas have a chance 1 to 1 and missed from 9m. Fat boy.... out of form. We was closer for the win but the draw is fair. Hope to see 3.5-4 for Vilnius win in next game with Ekranas. Coz 10 was so crazy price....

pfffffffffffffffffffff what a awful game in second half for Vetra. After first goal in 56 they stopped to play. In first half they played well,had few good chances to score.
