Re: Spain 8-9 December

Thanks Diomed As always I got things the wrong way round though - if I fancy an away team to win and back them outright, they'll only draw. If I settle for simply laying the home team, the away team goes and wins . Still, a winner's a winner I guess.

For Zaragoza, I won't be on the game myself, but if I were, I think I'd rather be laying Zaragoza then backing them. Espanyol are 10 games unbeaten, and from what I've seen of them in those games, they've looked a very decent side. Last game I saw of Zaragoza's was at home to Getafe, and they looked devoid of ideas for the part I saw, only got their goal after Abbondanzieri decided to go walkabouts. If Zaragoza were to get their act together they stand a chance, but they've not really shown much sign of it lately. Also worth noting the H2H between these 2 in Zaragoza. Zaragoza won last year 3-0, but prior to that, Espanyol were 3-5-0 for their previous 8 visits.

Re: Spain 8-9 December

did anybody see the second half of the Ath Madrid v Getafe game ?

It was on Sky - not much good football played but the entertainment value was brilliant !!!

Ath Madrid where winning 1-0 at HT and in the 2nd half both teams where reduced to 9 men and with Getafe having already used their subs they had to put an outfield player in goal cause one was their keeper.

finished 1-0 but it was good to watch
