FRENCH League 2

Ajaccio play at Le Stade Francois Coty, hopethat home advantage will work in their favour and be a pivotal factor. They have only lost a couple of games and remain unbeaten at home.
Ajaccio need to improve their performance levels if they are to move up the table. The 2 week international break came at a good time for Ajaccio and it gave the side a bit more time to get things right.
Ajaccio do welcome back key striker, Jean Jacques Mandrich. He was suspended for their last match and his addition in the attack will be a big boost
mean while Amiens key captain, Xavier Collin and also Romain Rocchi are ruled out for the hosts which is a blow.

AJACCIO 4 pts
OVER 2 3 pts

Re: FRENCH League 2

I am breaking my vow to stay away from France forever...funny how often I make and break this vow. Taking Grenoble to win at -125, could have had it for better odds before I went to bed last night but too much .

Anyway, my real pick for today:

Soccer - Libourne/Bastia - total Over 2½ (+116)
for the regulation time held on Sep 14 at 1:00pm [pending]

Libourne is a team I usually take with a O 2 line at poor odds, and when I saw this I thought I'd go for the plus money. Libourne is the best overs team in Ligue 2, though they are coming off a stretch of low-scoring games (goals in their games this season, in order: 4, 3, 4, 2, 2, 1). Bastia has a horrid defense, allowing 2+ in four of their six games this season. Two other things speak to overs here: Bastia is in 16th, Libourne in 19th, so both need to start winning. And the head to head is something to see: Last season Libourne lost at home to Bastia 2-4 and 2-3 on the road.
