Total joke odds for Iraklis to this first game of the Greek Super League. Iraklis had the worsest season to their history last year, where they avoided relegation to the last game. After this, there was critical changes to the club, in and out of the grounds, old president gone, 16 players left, and generally a terrible summer that left the team only with youngsters and kids as a first squad. The team started being built during the last 10 days, massive players transfers done (most of them unkown players) just to fit the squad to be ready for the league, and no season preparation done, only two friendlies played with amateur teams (no win, no goals scored for Iraklis). Iraklis also lost their new coach even before season start (lol). Last friday a disagreement of the new president with the new coach made the coach to be sacked, and Giovanovic came again back to coach position. Iraklis players at saturday will not know even who are their team mates, as the period that they are all training together is only a couple of days, and all team is lacking of fitness.

To the away side, Ergotelis is really stronger than last season, and more experienced. The strong transfers of Grammozis (Bundesliga) and Theodoridis (Panathinaikos) will boost their attack for sure, and they had a long and very good season preparation without problems. Noone is missing and they will field their best eleven.

Ergotelis is totally ready for this one, and they are better to all lines at the moment. I doubt that Iraklis can take something out of this game with the current situation. It is impossible to build a new team with youngsters and unknown foreign players within a few days.

I agree 100% with Isaiah I actually "bought" that game at 4.35 when odds came out. I feel odds will drop to 2, so guess I've made a healthy profit

Iraklis now has only 2 good known players, Nikolopoulos and Chloros (who used to be teammates in Egaleo too). I'd say they are going down this year, however I can't tell how good will be their new signings.

Ergotelis on the other hand can get an easy win, however since this is the season opener and I haven't watched any of their matches I can't say anything about their form. Their squad was strengthened from last year with Grammozis and Theodoridis and I see them going for European qualification.
