Austrian Bundesliga-Preview Saison 2007/08

Here a short statement to the new season 2007/08 in the Austrian Bundes-league:

Champions-favourit:

For me there is this year only one candidate on the championship title: Red Bull Salzburg!!! The legionary's troop from Salzburg has further increased this year and with Christoph Leitgeb of Sturm Graz has obliged simply the biggest talent of Austria! About spread 1.7 million euros he was pulled at land.

UEFA - CUP:

Rapid and Austria from the federal capital of Vienna I give most chance in the fight for the popular European cup places of UEFA! Both teams have a very big and well-balanced cadre.
The Austria must renounce by seasonal start, indeed, important players because of injury, (however, good start not guaranteed), thinks them on top will keep, although I see Rapid as the better team!

Centrefield:

I give outsider's chances of the European cup places LASK, Austria Kärnten and Sturm Graz! The Lask from Linz disposes about expertly, well well-functioning team which with people like Christian Mayrleb, Michi Baur (formerly Pasching) and Spirk (GAK) has well increased. In addition, there I think, which to show determined football to Ivica Vastic in spite of his 37 years still in the position in the federal league.
Now the former trainer of 1860 Munich Walter Schachner, who was unsuccessfully in Germany, is in Kärnten with the Austria there at work! Schachner has a qualitatively good cadre. Half a team of the distraught club Pasching is engaged in Kärnten. From it, trainer Schachner must find first of all trunk. If he manages this, then Kärnten something is also to be credited.
Sturm Graz has delivered some important players after the sportily very good, nevertheless financially catastrophic last season. (must deliver) To all at the head of Frank Verlaat and Christoph Leitgeb. Both departures hurt of course very much, because Sturm must respect in future probably even longer time to the budget! 1.7 million euros for leading-born of champ Salzburg did not intrude there! Only with Frank Verlaat I do not understand completely, the Sturm to him no new, reasonable contract offered!
However, very good players could be also obliged like Stankovic (Leoben), Muratovic, Sonnleitner (GAK), the Georgian Shashiashvili and goalkeeper Schicklgruber from Pasching! However, the cadre has become smaller which serious failures would be hardly to be taken in the running season. Of course I do not hope for my favorite club. If this can become not passed also Sturm Graz can be a surprise in the league.

lower centrefield:

Not in the upper regions I see the rest of the field with Ried, Mattersburg, Innsbruck and Altach! Ried and Mattersburg were last year par excellence the surprise teams of the league. You will manage this this year probably hardly more, the others have armed for me too strongly. They will deal with the descent, nevertheless, however, nothing.
For the relegation will fight in my opinion bravely Innsbruck and Altach! Innsbruck is in the construction and with the young troop they will hardly be able to move something in this season! By many years Bundes-league experience they will win the fight against Altach! I think they will send Altach next year back to RedZack-league!

P.S. So my friends: This was a short overview from my view for the coming season 2007/08! If we hope for a good, exciting new YEAR rich in yield!

roberto tell me something. What is it with GAK? Also there was some stories about that some clubs will be relegate in lower divisions and what was eith that and licence for first league? Thanks

GAK start to play now in Austria Regionalliga Mitte
almost all GAK players are gone from club
some rumours: i heard that GAK want buy the licence from RedZack club FC Kärnten but i think it will not be! Thats all for now what i know, hope i could help you a bit!

I know Karnten was last year Red Zak liga member but now we have
Austria Karnten in Bundesliga and Karnten Klagenfurt in Red Zak liga :S

About GAK: they are insolvency, most of the players change too Austria Kärnten (Kollmann,...) some guys think that GAK can come back next Year too RED ZACK LIGA- I don´t think so.....

For RedZack is still time and i did not study yet this league how will to go this saison, but i will write if i know more!
