Thats some price for Japan that ain't it, Paraguay haven't really looked that impressive in some pretty lack lustre displays, especially their last match against New Zealand, while Japan have looked up for it in all their matches culminating in that cracking 3-1 win over Denmark who are no mugs.

Its gotta be worth a tinker at those odds, I'm going to put one of my lucky tenners on it to make the match more interesting as I reckon the Japs have a real chance here.

I became utterly sick of the wee fuckers after watching their first two games - two of the worst games of football I reckon you'll ever see. Japan with 11 people behind the ball for 97% of them. Which in itself means they have a decent shout as it's incredibly difficult to get through that shit. I'd probably be willing to take them not to lose.

Two big games for me today,

Paraguay v Japan, if either of these two teams go on and win it, i'm on for around months wages. They wont of course but there's good lay money there after today.
And although my pick for Player of the tournament is Lucio, i'd have a bigger payout for Keisuke Honda should he have another great game and help the cause, i've backed him at 33/1 and 66/1 nicely, he's at 40's this morning. I think this one will probably fall by the wayside today though.

Spain v Portugal, financially i'd like to see Portugal go through as i'd have twice the return off them but i slightly favour Spain to do it.

I think i will have a bet on todays outcomes, two teams who are quite closely matched on their world cup form to date. I'm going to be a chicken play the draws. 11/5 & 9/4, smallest of profits if just one comes up. It's a shit bet really playing for your stake back but it's not beyond these two games to go to ET or Pen's, for a good day.
The stakes wont be big so no tears on a loss, it's a days football that i can enjoy today.
