No Slick, no outright win bets for me for the rest of this world cup, it's all lay bets, draw no bets and to qualify bets. Had a lay of Ghana and a qualify bet

Tomorrow I have a straight lay of Argentina at 90 mins at about 6/4 to protect my long term bet and a bonus if the argies go through after ET or pens.

Similar story with Spain with a straight lay bet at around 1/2 and an asian handicap bet for no bet if Spain win by one and plus or minus an even stake if they win by more than one or don't win.

Six left in the comp and I'm all green on betfair after getting on Uraguay at 20s on betfair during the extra time. I could even it all out but that would bore me shitless so I'll stick as I am with Spain and Argentina as my big winners, Holland next (which I'll be looking to lay back a bit at a decent opportunity because I really don't fancy them) and the other three for a decent profit.

Fuckin amazingly, I think I'm on for my second profitable major championship in a row, both on the trot after about 20 losing campaigns and a disastrous start to this year's.

I feel like I've won the lottery.

I'm not doing so bad either, in fact I'm well up tell the truth and should Germany win tomorrow I might even get one of those new Iphones.
I'm also in a comp at work that will net me £200+ should Holland and Spain reach the final as that will put me out of reach of the other competitors who have been on my coat tail since the Tournie started but they mainly went for a Brazil or Argie final and win. I never told them about my climate factor

Tell you the truth Slick I've just been playing the prices rather than actually using any skill to pick winners of games. I've been a lucky bastard with the odd exception (backing Italy to qualify at 1/4, backing france to beat S Africa, backing Fat Lamplard to score) but overall I'm damned lucky to be where I am at this stage and I keep expecting to wake up one morning and find that I've lumped the fucking lot on Paraguay to win the cup or something in a drunken stupor

All I have to do now is keep calm and be sensible. Neither of which are in my nature.

Spain need to up the tempo instead of strolling around like a walk in the park, Paraguay have shown in spells they can create chances and it only needs one to connect and Spain will be in the shite.
hopefully Spain will have had a bollocking at half time and come out with thier sleeves rolled up.
