Ok, Boyles have a market open for highest scoring day. Some days have 2,3 or 4 games (see link for odds)

Brazil vs North Korea

Monday 21-Jun 13.0
Portugal vs North Korea

These 3-game days could easily overhaul some of the 4-game days!

Well using Betflys superb spreadsheet, my most productive days were pretty much what the bookies predicted

Well looking at that, you'd have to fancy the 21st June with those matches all being 3 day games and therefore having more time for goals to be scored.

There are two problems with picking days when the last round of group games are played.

1 is that some teams may only need draws against each other to go through which could make for a low scoring game.

2 is that teams who have already qualified are hardly going to be busting a bollock to rattle up a big goals tally and may rest their best strikers/players.

The opening game for each team is likely to be a tense affair with nobody wanting to lose the game and face an uphill task to qualify.

All of which logical train of thought leads me to consider the middle group of games. It's easy to see why 21st June would be popular and it makes perfect sense with Portugal and Spain both playing against 20/1 shots. 12/1 is a cracking price in my view.

My other choice would be 17th June where Argentina could score enough goals against South Korea to make this competition a formality and the other two games featuring Greece and Nigeria and France and Mexico could also be a goal-fest if both come out of the first game pointless and desperate for a win. 18/1. Shame there is no each way betting available.
