World Cup Accas
Would love to place big money on following acca. Tried Paddy Power but they don't allow it. I assume its as they are related bets. Anyone know of any bookies that allow you to place on acca on group winners and qualifiers. Think this wold be a cert if i could place it:
Argentina Win Group B @ 2/5 England Win Group C @ 3/10 Holland Win Group E @ 8/13 Spain win Group H @ 2/7 Then Germany to Qualify from Group D @ 1/6 Italy Qualify from Group F @ 1/12 Brazil to Qualify Group G @ 1/9 €50 acca pays €265. |

Re: World Cup Accas
Tried it online, once you lump qualifiers along with group winners, option of an accumulator goes.

Re: World Cup Accas
Yeah there's no way they can say those bets are related. Good luck with your bet but I think that picking the group winners offers the absolute worst value you could possibly get. If you looked back over previous tournements you would find out how difficult it is to predict group winners and the odds don't reflect that fact. Group winners and second places are often decided by just one goal either way and it only takes one bad game out of the three to fuck up a team's chances of winning it.
Add to that the scenario where a team has won its first two group games and goes into the final game guaranteed to qualify. They will often chose the option of resting players over going all out to win the game and finish top which, theoretically, gives them a slightly easier next game. Good luck though |
