Group Stage Matches Multis

I usually like putting on a line, about now, just to get me in the WC mood. I will bet on a few of the group stage games and not really care about the way things could be effected just have a bet at the odds on offer the now. I have one or two longer priced selections. all thoughts appreciated.

Ghana 5/2 to beat Serbia

I dont know much about Serbia but i know the world cup is in africa and ghana are from africa and ghana have some chelsea players. correct me if i am wrong but surely there is some value in that Ghanian price?

Japan 11/4 to beat Cameroon. Cameroon arent that good are they? the japs like to get about teams and surely in their first game they would like to get about the africans? I dont know much but i do't think there is that much between the two teams. are Japan a shadow of their former selves?

Nigeria 13/8 to beat greece. again im just going on the african motif ad that greece aint the team they was. Nigeria not slight favs for this?

Germany 5/6 to beat serbia. tough game but the sort of game the germans will win. nope the draws a worry so i will forget it.

France 10/11 to beat south africa. Im thinkign the french will just do enough to get through and that might involve having to win this (hold on komp you said you dont care about how the WC has been going). Not so kean now.

Uruguay to beat mexico at 7/4?

the argies to beat greece at 8/11? (massive punt time)

USA to beat Algeria at 4/5 and go through?

all thoughts appreciated. I have to stop by TDP more as i miss folks and im just taking my avoidance issues to the extreme.

French a few players missing, and nowhere near the same team as about 8 years ago. Very much like Arsenal, without the goals. Lucky toi be here and I wouldnt trust them. South Africa home nation ,will have huge support and home nations usually do well - even South Korea got to the final as the home nation so anythings possible ............Hell England even won it

I backed Nigeria in the ACN, and when I say theyre crap I aint kidding. They dont get out of 5th gear even when theyre losing. No ambition, and I think theyve been smoking too much in the changing rooms.

I think Argentina, as always ,are grossly overated and underpriced. The qualifying problems havent gone away, he still uses too many players, tactics all over the shop, plays Messi out of position, and they panic like hell when they go behind. They do have some class players but to many are individuals and the temperament problems in their blood are still their as strong as ever. Beating a 2nd string Canada at home isnt anything to shout about either. Ive backed them to get through the group but as soon as they come up against a good team they`ll get beat. The 8/11 vs Greece does at first look a good price, BUT Greece wont attack, they never do when playing teams who they are apparently inferior to, they`ll sit back all night and take a 0-0, or a 1-0 with a goal from a corner.

Ghana looked poor in the ACN despite getting to the final. I saw the semi and qtr and they had like 1 shot in both games, got totally hammered and yet won both. I havent seen much of Serbia, but theyre gona be decent going by their results

South Korea are apparently the best ,and theyre 16/1 in a group with Argentina/Nigeria/Greece. Argentina should win the group (just) from probably Greece imo as theyve a better chance of getting a draw with the argys than Nigeria have, which could give them the edge.

Japan are in 18/1 with Holland/Denmark/Cameroon. Any of the 3 could go through, and all 3 will beat Japan. The best theyll get is 1 point .

North korea may aswell not bother showing up. Thyere 120/1 in a group consisting of Brazil/Portugal/Ivory Coast. They`ll got 0 points
