Put your latest rumours etc in this thread. Starting with a big one.....
BBC Sport - Football - Spain's Xavi may miss World Cup Spain midfielder Xavi could miss the World Cup with a muscle injury. The Barcelona star, 30, scored one goal and set up two in Saturday's 4-1 win at Villarreal but admitted afterwards that he has a 3cm tear above his calf. "Xavi's playing with an injury that could see him miss the World Cup," said Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola. |

Re: Players - who's going and who's missing out
....and a not so big one
Sporting Life | World Cup 2010 in South Africa | News | Low rules out Kuranyi call-up Germany coach Joachim Low has confirmed Kevin Kuranyi will not be in his World Cup squad. Kuranyi has been ostracised by Low since storming away from the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund before the final whistle after being omitted from the matchday squad for the qualifier against Russia in October 2008. His form for Schalke this season has led to calls for a recall, with even Franz Beckenbauer urging Low to swallow his pride and take the Brazil-born forward to South Africa. Low, though, told Kuranyi in a phone call he would not be included in the preliminary squad he names next Thursday. |

Sneijder might also miss out due to his injury in the game against AS Roma. They're not even sure if he'll play in the Champions League final... That's a blow for Holland.
