Ive just realised I must punt Paraguay,the Italians are an ageing force and theres plenty of class in the the Paraguay side to some sought of result against the Italians in the first game.Paraguay might be going into the last match on the same points,if so the Italians might be going into the last game needing someting against the Slovakians and visa versa,Paraguay last game is against New Zealand and a win or even a draw might be enough to win the group.

Paraguay Group winners looks a value call imho.

Yes, Italy starts badly and somehow manage to pull it off right at the end. It happened everytime, even during the last World Cup. They almost lost to Australia and if it weren't for that red card shown to Zidane, I'm sure they wouldn't have won.

However, I'm almost sure they will qualify, although I would be reluctant to bet here. Mostly because of Slovakia, a team with a lot of potential, in my opinion. The good thing about being the underdog of the group is that people won't pay any attention to your mistakes, as they already expect that, so the slovakians might be underestimated.

Italy and Slovakia for me. Paraguay can be decent, but are a different animal away from home and they could struggle to take control of games. Slovakia have a lot of strength and self belief and that augurs well for them. NZ have improved a lot but are still very very average and shouldnt be upto this. Italy are very classy and knowing them they`ll draw 2 ,win 1 and go through in 2nd. They should win the group though, and can take Slovakia with them - with possibly the last game ,a draw between Italy/Slovakia sending both throught

I'd go for the obvious: defend well and though shalt not lose. It's an Italy-Paraguay dual forecast for me.

Where? Of their more experienced players two are Sunderland players I've never heard of and Santa Cruz. There doesn't look much between them and Slovakia so a bet opposing Paraguay to qualify could be value. Their squad looks a bit pony to me, please someone tell me why Paraguay are so good, they only just scraped past North Korea in a friendly.
