I quite fancy Mexico to win this group...

I was impressed the couple of times I saw Uruguay but they scrapped over the line against Costa Rica and with this probably being one of the most open groups then you cant rule any off them out with exception to South Africa. I cant see them doing much but you never know.

France have been poor and I dont know enough about mexico except there refried beans are braw !!!

France - I refuse to right off in this group no matter how bad the form is at the mo,clearly have goals in them and recently added Gignac who was Ligue 1 top gaolscorer,I think also Sagna and Evra are class full backs and can get forward with some effect,imho opinion can go straight through this group if not with maximum points then possibly seven points.

Mexico - will clearly improve and Arsenals Carlos Vela will give them some good potency upfront (22 caps - 7 goals)

France nailed on to win the group, I'd say. Not sure I agree with this World Cup football blog which reckons they're in with a chance of winning the whole thing. Too many internal problems and a mental manager.

Uruguay plays pretty well, I think. They haven't backed this up with results in a long time, but they have players good enough to create surprises in this group.

Domenech's France is in poor shape, they barely qualified to this edition, but then again, it's France. I am sure they will qualify, leaders or runner-ups. For the second place I'd say Uruguay, though I don't see them go too far.

Cant be having France at all and dont think they`ll get through the group.

South Africa ,as the home nation, are always going to have a chance in what is going to be a deadly tight group. Ive seen Mexico a few times recently, and theyre very average, as are Uruguay. For the sheer fact that Uruguay qualified from a tougher section that Mexico, id go for them to sneak through with the springboks in probably a group with plenty of draws

This is one of the toughest groups to predict as all sides are IMperfect but not utterly goofs.

I would gladly bet against france though. They simply don't have a manager.

I fancy Uruguay and Mexico to scrap through, although both will probably be knocked out in the round of 16.

I'm pretty much convinced France are going home early. I had Mexico to beat Italy last night and wholly believe they'll walk all over the French too. Uruguay are also pretty handy.

For me, it's whether Mexico or Uruguay top the group
