I don't understand why the french are being backed, South Africa are availible at 11-4.
They will be 3-1 by kick off I guess. Both sides have looked pretty useless to me so far.
I'll try a speculative few quid on the africans as they are the home side and the french maybe too busy hitting each other with their handbags to play.

Surely with SA being the home nation and the state France are in it should be a walkover?! Though nothing in this World Cup seems to be predictable...

South Africa odds drifting I see. I quite fancy a wee punt on them not to lose (or Asian handicap possibly).

I think saying they've been useless is harsh as they did a lot of good work against Mexico and scored a beautiful goal and having watched them in the confederations cup last year I know they're capable of playing decent stuff. They're fragile, I'm well aware of that but if the French are in as much disarray as they appear to be - could be a tight one.

Small stakes it'll be for me though as the French might come out with a completely different attittude to what we all expect. Such is life.

Ireland must be even more pissed off when they see the mess France have made of their campaign, almost certain Ireland would have made a better go of it...such is life though, good luck to Uruguay and Mex both seem decent sides capable of springing a surprise in the next round..
