The original scripts of the second series were released on the net as the fans were calling for them in the US.
Some of the story lines were probably best dropped.. there was more of the older Green brother and his barmaid getting it on, more of his mother, more on the gang that lived outside of Jericho (the dad of Jakes birds gang), a full storyline about the rich teenage girls parents trip back from New York, more of the journey into Texas, more of the other town new burn.. on reflection the second series goes at a ridiculous pace, they manage to get the bomb from Jericho to Cheyenne, then onto Texas in about one episode without ever having to explain to anybody why
Theres the potential for the Sci Fi channel to pick it up for a third spin off series, set in the Eastern States and well away from the front line, purely because they could never handle the budget of the original series (or even that of the much shorter second). If it happens itll be a year or so away, and itll probably be shite.
