Tennis Today, Mainly Federer

Aint been watching Tennis in a while..

I thought Federer near enough won ALL his games in Straight sets..

Anyways straight to the point, Federed is 1/2 to win 2-0 Today (STr8 Sets) against Wawrinka..

Whats the catch? Is he playing with a cricket bat or something today?

Thoughts Anyone?

Also James Blake To Beat Marat Safin

I personally would steer well clear of the Federer 2-0 bet, Jarulejt, for two main reasons. Firstly, the tournament is only an exhibition, so it counts for nothing, it's just a chance for the players to acclimatise to the conditions in Paris, and secondly, Wawrinka beat Federer 2-0 on clay in Monte Carlo in a "proper" match just one month ago.

So you reckon a betvon Wawrinka at 10/3 is a better bet?

The games you mention, jaruleit are anything but a NO-BETS.
It all depends on the players motivation only several days before Rolland Garros. Nobody would be willing to stay long time on court, in that aspect Fed could beat Wawrinka 2:0 but I wouldn't touch it either.
And the Blake - Safin game looks more like a coin toss to me. Could be tempted to take the odds-against player, in that case - Safin.

The better bet in my personal opinion would be to leave this tournament well alone. You can never be sure how players are going to approach exhibition matches, much the same as with football friendlies. Normally they're only after a decent workout - if they happen to win, great, if they lose, it's no big deal. All I will say is that 1/2 on a Federer straight sets win looks an absolutely terrible price. I'd be reluctant to take that kind of price on him to win full stop (in this particular game, not if we were talking about a "proper" tournament), never mind to win in straight sets.

All just my opinion of course, but I reckon you'd be better off saving your money and looking elsewhere. Good luck if you do go with anything from these matches though.

To regularly watch tennis is one of the most important things if you want your bets in this sport to be successful. If that's not the case - better save your money. And also Federrer isn't full of 2:0 victories recently, this year he could drop a set or lose a match when nobody expects him to. Hope things change after the last week's great success.
