does anyone thing that my original plan for the tennis forum to be 'so much more than betting' could come into play? I was hoping that folks could even just talk about the world of tennis in here too. the Talk Sports forum generally has a football edge to it and i was just hoping that a lot of like minded tennis fans could 'talk tennis' somewhere.

The idea is great, I only have some concerns about the amount of posters we'll have here.
But we could give it a try. I'll stick it and hopefully it'll work.

well if your happy to stick with it engineer so am i. We'll just have to try and get some tennis fans in that like talking tennis. im sure it will all work out in the end.

I'm a Fed fan for yonks.
Thought he was out of it prior to winning the French and Wimbledon titles.
Got the record lost the USA to a potentially brilliant player in Del Boy Potro.
So what's his motivation now got twins too.
Still a fabulous player and Nadal clearly isn't fit.
I think Fed can win one or two more slams.
Oddly enough for 2010 none and two slams are about equal!
I'll come back to this.

I think Fed could win much more than two or three slams. But fortunately things are getting really competitive at the ATP. Hope it will be this way till the end of this season and the next also. And fingers crossed they all avoid serious injuries
