Castano to beat Johansson - not matched yet, being arrogant and asking for 2.40, probably will ask for shorter in the afternoon, this will be a big bet - 8pts


At the men could oppose the totally out of sort Berdych. I couldn't imagine he'd lose from the 17-y-o bulgarian Dimitrov last week and if he keeps going the same way (especially with his mental "sturdiness") this could be an easy job for the Russian.

Berdych losing to Dimitrov was certainly a shock at the time, Engineer, but Dimitrov then went on to take a set off Nadal too, so maybe Berdych's performance wasn't all that bad after all (although I didn't see the match, so can't really comment).

Yes, Dimitrov performed great last week. But during the previous season he did well at the boys mainly and wasn't convincing at the men's tournaments. That's why I was surprised to see him beating an ex top 10 player. But he's got great talent and should make the top 100 rather sooner than later. Still, Berdych was really poor and that's why I'm opposing him today.

Pin's price shortened significantly, hope everything will be OK with this bet, but Szavay, similarly to Berdych looks on a free fall. In fact I'm going against her today, not backing Pin

Zvonareva's H2H with Bartoli makes impressive reading. 7-1 to Zvonareva, all of those wins were by more than 5.5 games, 6 of them were in straight sets, and the last 3 (all in the past 5 months) have been absolute hammerings - 6-2 6-0 on indoor hard in September, 6-0 6-1 on the same surface a month later, and 6-3 6-0 at the Australian Open last month.

Throw in the fact that Zvonareva's in great form this year, only lost 2 sets in 12 matches this year (to Safina in the Oz Open semi finals), and the fact Bartoli is struggling (seem to remember reading, although I might be wrong, that she had to save match points against Sugiyama in the deciding set in the 1st round), and there are some great looking bets to be had on Zvonareva.

Just had a nibble on Bartoli, as I thought her price was just too big - @6.8.
Yes, the h2h is a slight concern and Zvonareva looks really impressive recently, but Bartoli looks in good condition also and may prove very hard to beat today.

My 1st bet today will be Tipsarevic to beat Cilic @4.9 - 3 pts
Lay Cilic 2:0 @1.76 - liab 8pts

Ridiculous price for the Croat here. OK the recent performances of both are totally different with Cilic winning the tournament in Zagreb and Janko failing spectacularly in Belgrade, also Cilic won twice against his opponent in January. But I don't think there so much class difference to make the h2h 3:0, and it all depends on Tipsa's motivation. He should be willing to make a good tournament in Dubai and he could beat Cilic on his day. If that's the case today we'll see nice victory for the Serbian.
