Re: The tennis betting thread - 2009
Probably time for the tennis 2009 season to bow out with the Barclays ATP Tour Finals in London.
During the first three days there were really great matches, hope it will go on this way.
Today I'll go with the value again and will be on:
Soderling to beat Djokovic @3.1 - 5 pts
Djokovic to win 2-1 @3.75 - 2.5 pts
The Swede is playing awesome, powerful tennis and I expect him to prevail against Djokvic at last. He missed his chances in Paris, but now it's a different story and I could see Soderling causing many troubles to the Serb. Novak is also playing great, admittedly, and this could be a thriller, but the price for Sodeling is way too good to miss.
Nadal to beat Davydenko @2.1 - 6 pts
Interesting to see Nadal odds against but of couse there are reasons for that. Certainly he still remembers their last meeting in China where Davydenko deservedly won the title. Now Nadal is pushed to the limits and there's no way for retreat. This is the situation he is most dangerous and I doubt Davydenko will handle the pressure to achieve another victory against him. Good value on the Spaniard here.
