Early on it looks like the big servers are struggling, with Guccione out in qualifying and Karlovic being comfortably beaten by Keifer(Karlo just 68% points won on 1st serve, Keifer 97%).

Will keep an eye on Berdych and Querrey just now, but if they have trouble on serve too then there could be some big value in the outright market on the retreivers.

I think that Ivo and Guccione simply bad players. Ivo has a very bad reception, and Guccione is raw in general low level player. But surface, certainly, slowly what 'hard'.

Agreed, I saw a replay of a bit of the Karlovic match and he didn't seem too motivated. Ginepri did trouble the Berd serve but was still defeated quite easily, Cilic was a relatively easy winner, and Baghdatis-Querrey match is more about Baggy's inconsistency than anything else, so inconclusive all things considered.

Anybody fancy Feliciano Lopez at 15/8 to take out Andy Roddick?

Roddick has already qualified for the masters and Lopez is in terrific form.

Anybody got any oipinion or am i just looking where the money is at?

Was looking at that one myself, Rafa, but can't bring myself to take it having seen Lopez's record on carpet. His win over Tipsarevic in the first round was his first in 6 attempts on the surface, including defeats to Koubek and Bastl. Overall record on carpet is 13-17. He's certainly in form at the moment but I couldn't back him given his record.

S. Lisicki - M. Czink: 1.28
Here I see a wide difference in a class. Romanian without practice, Wozniak good. The level of Czink is terrible, and for Lisicki the large future.

Great stuff with this thread, I was too overloaded with work recently, but now it's a bit better and I'll be popping up in here more often. Predominantly predictable outcomes in Paris this week, whick isn't good for the value seekers, but will it continue this way?

Very much a lot of sensational results was this week. Players did not become here to play and simply prepare to the final tournament.
We will endeavour to earn a money next week)
