No time to write in much detail, but have taken Arvidsson and Melzer today. Arvidsson's game's starting any minute, so no point mentioning that.

As for Melzer, he has a 4-0 H2H lead over Andreev, covering 3 different surfaces (hard, grass, clay). Has won just 1 of his last 5 matches, and that was due to a retirement. A defeat in his home country to Chardy looks a particularly sloppy result. Throw in a poor record against left-handers (9 wins from 29 attempts) and I'd give Melzer the edge in this one.

Betfair's playing up at the moment, can't remember the exact price I took, but somewhere in the region of 1.95 I think.

Also attempting to lay Chakvetadze 2-0 v Johansson, Chakvetadze in rotten form this year, she should win this one, but still a decent chance she'll make life difficult for herself.

Absolutely agree on Grosjean . Ginepri did quite well in Madrid and nearly eliminated Simon, but today could be another story. Great value on the french. Also could consider Lapenti to beat Karlo(bitch) .

3 bets, 3 losers, I remember now why I've not posted in here for ages

One for today, Llagostera Vives to beat Stosur @ 2/1. Think this one will be closer than the odds suggest. Last week Stosur played on an indoor hard court for the first time in some 20 months, and was beaten in 3 sets by Parmentier. Over the course of her career, she's lost more than she's won on indoor hard courts (14-16). Llagostera Vives, meanwhile, may be more of a clay courter, but she's had some decent results this year on indoor hard. In the Fed Cup she's beaten Schiavone in Italy and Peng and Zheng in China. She's also beaten Knapp and taken Katerina Bondarenko to 3 sets. She came through 3 rounds of qualifying here, including a win over Strycova (a player with a pretty decent 31-19 record on indoor hard).

These two have met once on this surface, with Stosur winning comfortably, but that was a long while ago, back in 2005.

A bit brave to back Simon and Penetta 10/10, szcz. They both had a long journey last week and while Simon has all to play for as he has chances for Shanghai if I'm correct, that doesn't mean they'll be 100% in their games. Good luck though .

if 100% imo he can take it anyway good luck with fatass

as for simon he can book shanghai ticket and he is very fit so imo no problem vs Monaco (no problem with win as it can be in 3 sets anyway)
